港島西選港島東Band 1中學(張祝珊英中)

各位家長您們好.
小兒乃港島西一SKH小學就讀.他的成績屬Band 1.曾考慮
選本區那所官中,但家長及校長異口同聲勸免,若有比其更佳,更理想的選擇,不選它也顯罷!!,其實港島西中學真的有限,多數是齋男齋女,其餘男女校的校風則....(except 那所
優貭直資,但小兒並非他們眼中之elite,所以不用多想)

說實話,St Joseph 太demanding 及d 仔頗arrogant
and less polite.校舍十分十分頰窄.
剩下只有要付錢的Paul Boys,但又不像Co-ed那般優質,成績也屬平平.好似唔多值得,你地話我點選呢?

所以我很努力上網找入適我兒的band one英中,跨區也無妨,因為大前提講緊是在6年內朋輩的影响及受學校的薰陶,
不可只慕名入讀的.

此校收男多還是女多?
學生品格及進取嗎?
校長和老師,師生的關愛及互相支持正面嗎?
校舍空間,設備完善和先進?
學生應該很上進吧.
我不太喜歡那类有名無實的傳统名校.

如CCS與SKH鄧S堅比較,又如何取捨呢?

你們可樂意分享及見議嗎?祈盼回覆多多指教.

我看此校收生的資料,非常着重成績次第,但不像其他的Top校般要求相當比重在體艺比賽方面的表現.

這個絕對正確.但作為父母的,為兒女選校時,
也不可"羊群心理","麻目尊崇".所以老師校長
很衷心地從 "教學熱誠+學生品格"兩者為大
前提,才產生他們的評價.我也應多參考不同家長對各校的寶貴意見後,再作合適的配對.
我兒只是一個平凡的學生,還不出11歲.

因為今年升中派位結果令本人感咢然,該所傳統名校竟然還有10個叩門位剩+其他家長(有兒子就讀該校的一羣)也說-ve.所以我和兒子也很猶疑.不過,我很喜歡該校校舍,距離它也只需５分鍾.唉!

Yr founding is true. As far as I know some parents of my son's school prefer SKHTSK to KC now.(except those very very top group. That's why I want to pick CCS for not being one
of their majority within WC zone even this school most likely accepts 1-2 students from each school in Eastern or Kln districts. It may be risky as what you've said.

But, I don't think CCS only consider to accept those elite students after reading the latest infos about the F.1 allocation distribution list from the school website. Instead, those would rather target on high reputation schools like DBS/LS/DJS/SPCC/QC/Kln WY/HY/St Paul Convent....

我都知(論成績而言,非常出色),但論學生彼此關愛精神和校舍,我問了阿仔好多次,佢冇好感.阿仔学校這兩年也派了6-8個入去.不過佢個老師為自己的兒子擇校時,也棄St Joseph (after interview),不選紅磚頭,另入WY.

我想身為老師的家長,照理會更審慎周詳吧.
現在一心一意鼓勵阿仔向前乘風破浪,爭取
拿校長出的recommendation letter.到
選校時每知怎样行.做好自己份內事為上策.
