Thanks for sharing the valueable information.

My son is in Tuen Wan district. In the 1st round, I want to select Kwai Tsing District (as less chance if select in 2nd round) and Shatin District (which has 5 class S1 Band 1 school)

The past record of his primary school shows that the students who were allocated to some DSS schools like 香港管理專業協會李國寶中學; 香港神託會培基書院; 匯基書院(東九龍) etc. their result are behind 110. Is that means those DSS will receive Band 2/3 student and I can apply in the last stage if the "lucky draw" is not acceptable!?

or I join the "Lucky Draw" as 1st option, if a not ideal school allocated, I then try to select DSS?

Totally agree for those pupils who want to try DSSs in the last round in July is quite difficult.

I've visited 培基 & 顏寶鈴 last 2 weeks, the DSSs gave me a good impression in English level, the campuses' facilities, environment and resources etc. So I would suggest thoese Band 2 pupils try to study the good DSSs.

In 顏寶鈴, I talked with some S1 student came from the primary schools of True Light, Ma Tau Chung Gov (Houng Hum Bay), 2 x Yau Ma Tei Cath, etc. who were selected 顏寶鈴 in the 1st round as 1st choice, they do not regret and study happily in 顏寶鈴


But khmama or other netizens,do you have any comments on other DSSs?
