DBSPD 2nd interview

It really happened in 2009. But there was only one batch in 2010. Up to now, I don't think they will call 2nd batch of candidates for 2nd interview.

I remembered they announced the second interview should be on 15-30 nov in the briefing session.
Can we start discussing the interview question now??
Anyone can clarify?

Didima, did u say that u've just finished interview yesterday or the second day of the interview period? I got confused.
Because I thought they arranged the interview sequence according to the application no. But some rumor says the related parties or the one with higher marks will be interviewed first.

我想你們面試的心情一定較輕鬆，我地第二日見，我們都好緊張，校長仲要嚴厲執行一分鐘，亂晒陣腳，都唔知講到邊度！

I believe it follows application no., too. My no is around 200, so I did interview on the second day afternoon.

The pm session starts at 2pm and maybe end at 5pm (just guess). I think the school asked 4 kids per hour (i.e. 15 mins per candidate). In my session, all 4 kids registered at 2pm and then wait for the interview according to their arrival sequence. That's why I said in the previous post that if you registered the last in that session, you have to wait for at least 45 minutes.

I think they have to interview 25 candidates per day => 25 * 12 = 300
so they need around 12 - 13 days for interview.

Is each candidate assigned at 10 mins time slot? I know the 1st interview time is 9 a.m., so next one would be 9:10 a.m.?

Guess the morning session is 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., how about the afternoon sessi ...

That's mean the other kids in my session came early a lot!!
We were asked to register at 1:50 and had interview at 2:00. But I saw 3 other kids with parents waiting already!

Seems that my son is really accepted by DBS!
It's quite enjoyable to have dream and hope, right!

唔使驚，入到second round ，再加分，機會好大。雖然覺得仔仔機會微，但都希望聽你們的一手經驗，若12月落空，都想waiting 求位，或將來有機會插班！！

就係都覺得機會微，（始終有１５０個ｏｕｔ）但又想知多些。
我老公都成日提醒自己，就算阿仔入一間普通學校，我地都一樣用心栽培佢。我相信願意響度分享的家長都一樣。希望到時的失望感覺唔會維持太耐，係叻的總有出頭天。

家長問題：為何選此校？
阿仔問題有三：
1）講出青瓜和西瓜的共通點和不同之處。
2）看一幅圖，然後把圖砌出來。阿仔話幅圖似一條龍？
3）播故事，然後覆述，故事關於小兔拿蘋果見病了的羊伯伯，沿途遇上狐狸，狐狸用神奇藥水交換小兔的蘋果，故事還有鴨媽媽和小狗等。

家長得一分鐘，好嚴，可能對我們沒興趣？
仔仔約8分鐘就出來，真係希望如 我有一個爸 所講，時間短未必唔得，好擔心！

What is hairy melon? Even adult may not be able to answer!
Comparison type questions are simple and open-ended. Smart and outspoken kids can tell many points to show their analytical ability and even creativity (if the kid show imagination even he doesn't really know the item!).
So hard for my son, he is not outspoken!!

Haha，我估起碼幫咗出年的家長預備，但又可能增加出年面試小朋友無謂的操練，因可能題目會完全不同了！
點都好，出年小朋友有心理準備，可能又會越來越叻，真係考起出題目的了！！
講返面試，小朋友沒有完整向家長覆述並不代表佢當時講唔到！佢之後向家長講得返又唔代表佢響校長前表現好喎！就算記得又要比較講得好唔好聽，講野有無自信。講真，只有校長先知！最快下星期可能知結果啦！
Cat-tam, 我個仔都係用中文面試，我無信心佢甪英文會答得好！（唔知點解我用iphone覆唔到pm!)
