Well, it all depends on how the tutor guides her -- I have taught many students like this. The tutor needs to talk to her and be able to spot her weaknesses and then tackle her weaknesses so as to bring her the sense of achievement and that is really the first step. And then we need to build up her interest towards studies and to help her develop her own strategies. Make sense? I think we have done quite well with students like this at i-Learner English Studio. The number of lessons is not really the key in this case.
