Long history for 筲箕灣官立, please look at the following website:

but for 筲箕灣東, the former name is 筲箕灣官立工業中學, a secondary school for training students to meet society needs, not for entering HKU and CU in earlier years.Therefore, more able students are willing to select 筲箕灣官立, NOT selecting 筲箕灣東, then there are two different bandings.

官塘福建中學(直資) is a band 1C school, 福建中學（小西灣）is a band 2A school, the public exam results of 官塘福建 is better than that of 福建小西灣.

According to most parents' opinion, the school atmosphere of 嶺南衡怡(小西灣) (band 2C) is better than that of 嶺南(杏花村) (band 2C).

yes, band 2A 福建中學（小西灣）for a few years, but i know most students and parents love to choose 劉永生 because the school aims at becoming band 1.
