Those removal information was advised by my friend around 1.5 months before and she has a children studying P1 (AM). Of course, if there is any update information, pls feel free to share and discuss!
Anyhow, my personal opinion on removal information and chance is quite high as you know Hennessy Gov't School is a very small school in size. It is difficult for them to make any extension in the existing location. If they would like to extend and stay in Wan Chai for the purpose of keeping their address in Wan Chai District for their P6 student applying for secondary school in WanChai in future, (you know the net of secondary school would follow the primary school address's net NOT your residential address), the only chance will be looking for some CLOSED school to divde the AM & PM School to continue their services as it is also difficult for them to locate the good place in Wan Chai. Since the re-building work of St. James will be completed after 3 years, it will be a very good chance for them to move to there after the return of St. James. You know removal of school is not a easy work, they must take 2-3 year to plan & apply and such timing is quite matched up with their need.
For my daughter, she is luck to get a seat in St. James in the 1st round but somebody told me their secondary school's offer may not be so good in comparing with Hennessy. We are now thinking whether we shall take a last and very remote chance to apply Hennessy School in the second round so that her little brother can follow her after few years. Of course, if failure, we have to pay to let her study True Light P1 and it will be no benefit to the little brother la . . . . |
