My son got conditional offer from Tonbridge for year 9. Website says acceptance if passing entrance exam. At last  my son passed entrance exam with good grade, but was not accepted. 真捖笨 !!

這樣很不公平！較深的數學卷我個仔都話淺。我未有收過Tonbridge 有這樣的安排。如果不收國際學校的學生，早通知呀！不用浪費大家時間。好彩阿仔都入了排名比它高的學校。不過條氣唔順，講出來給大家知。

我唔順氣是因為學校選擇學生原來一早定了，那為什麼不寫清楚？浪費他人的時間！還好意思說今年競爭很激列，費話！!

I don't think the admin work is less. I visited the school too. My son is also Hongkonger. The agent is also very bad and wouldn't tell you the truth.

其實好好彩，問過幾個家長，一早就發現Tonbridge的conditional offer是假嘢。幫阿仔報多兩間學校。所以報學校不只看排名，school website，school visit。個人意見及經歷也很重要！

The reason that I was angry is that '  I am delighted to able to offer him a boarding place for entry to Tonbridge in September 2014, conditional upon his PASSING his entrance examination' from the Headmaster's letter.
This is completely dishonest !!

I would feel much better if ' I am delighted to be able to offer a boarding place  in September 2014 upon SATISFACTORY performance in entrance examination.'

I actually learned a lot from this lesson. Time is not wasted.

Firstly I understand why traditional schools are so popular.

Secondly, there are some connection between local and UK boarding school.

Thirdly some UK schools only want LS.
