Is it a DSS or a private school? Some private schools allow you to take part in discretionary stage (Stage 1), but it's not possible for DSS, in which case you really have to make a choice. Remember, the discretionary place is not guaranteed and if your girl is not accepted by the desired school, you cannot go back to register at the previous school.
