如哥哥讀緊英華小學,細佬會否有較大機會考入?

其實, 學校在道義上是應該接收弟弟(如果哥哥入學時並不是直資)。不過, 我記得當年校長只承諾優先考慮, 並不保證百分百接收。所以亦不可說是"過橋抽板"。不過無首名子女分, 真係好愁。我細仔今年考不進, 但waiting list 入左。所以不用放棄, keep on trying La.

waiting list 是入最後300人名單內。

Fully understand the situation. It's very very sad if little brother can't get offer. But you have to keep on trying. If the final answer is negative, maybe he is  not really suitable studying in YW. Don't forget the whole process are selected by Ms. Lam, she  fully understand which kind of students who is most suitable for studying in YW.

BTW, I think DSS is a very "odd" policy. It get government subsidization but retain self-entry process. For private school, I think it is good to choose students by themselves. But DSS school get money from public but they are superior than other subsidized schools. But in fact, it is very difficult to maitain the high standard if school give up their selection rights to government. So, don't be surprised. If you live in HK, you have to obey the "STUPID" rules by our "STUPID" government. Same as the 英中、中中policy.................
