Actually quite a few students want to repeat F6 EVERY YEAR. School has only one or two quota even though all of them have very strong affection for SFXC.

Your feeling can be understandable but the school actually can do very little as the education resourse is scarce and the school has given your son a chance before. If your son is allowed to repeat F6, that will be unfair to those who cannot repeat in sfxc and similarly love sfxc as you do.
It is the tradition of sfxc math teachers to make students fail in the math test in F4 so that they will work harder. In our days general math is known as 猪 math but the teacher set difficult questions on purpose for the first test in F4 and the pass rate was only 10%........
Once I passed the classroom of F2B in the day of 80s, Mr Iu was trying his best to teach his students of Chinese language, this picture is still vivid in my mind because of the vivid comparison of my own teacher of Chinese language of F2A, Mr Iu never taught me.
