Since it's not mentioned in the handbook, i assume no chinese dictation next week. Usually, they will advise dictation content one week prior.

The Chinese teacher for 1E class has asked the girls to mark the syllabus for Chinese dictation for the week after next (12/10) in their handbooks.  I think that implies no dictation for next week.

想請問買咗 Old Dog Tom & Little Chick Chick 新書的媽咪，你哋本書係邊年Edition and Printing Year, 我囡用家姐本書 2年前買，今日阿2俾老師貼紙仔要買新書，但我打去 Ling Kee問，佢嘅現有版本，同我一樣都係2002年 edition，仲話叫我唔好買住，佢哋都唔肯定係咪有唔同，所以我好疑惑 。

請問1B班媽咪，今日本手冊寫「寫字(六)」，但我揾唔到呢張紙嘅！係阿囡寫錯定唔見咗！我淨係見寫字(五)呢張，仲有，今日係咪得12樣嘢？因為今日冇 chop 公仔印，所以唔肯定佢抄齊未？佢話 Lunch 去咗圖書館，唔知高班姐姐有冇幫佢 check 手冊喎！

其實一開學老師有講過話今年有改, 我開學前已經打去書商問過, 佢話今年版係冇改過同上年一樣, 所以冇理照開學, 不過去到依家老師叫我地買過, 我好莫名......之後我都買左新書, 之後相比係有幾隻字改過, 而且書第一頁亞女話我知點分係新 or 舊! 其實我本人覺得可以自己打幾隻字貼落上去就ok !

I bought the readers at school on the registration day.  Even so, we were told that our book is of the wrong version. According to my little one, the differences could be found in a few places in the book. eg. The content page on p.4. The chapter named "Mr. Sheep Makes A House" has been revised as "Mr Sheep Builds A House" in the new edition. But the teacher confirmed to me that Ling Kee will exchange the new books for us after checking the ones they are going to give us are of the right version.
