CCKG INTERVIEW SHARING

My daughter will be having an interview next week.
Heard that the interview will be very simple in which your boys/daughters go in to interview themselves and talk in english only.

Does anyone who have interviewed in 2010 or 2009 could share with each other on this.

Please PM me if you don't want to expose it.

I will report and share how was my daughter interview later.

just did the interview. it was simple, about 2-3 minutes. we were asked to wait at the lobby (ground level, just a waiting area) first, for about 5 minutes. Then, we were asked to go upstairs. Up there, we sat on the sofa and waited for 1-2 minutes. There were some simple books on the coffee table... Then, the staff asked my daughter to go into the principal's office. The principal opened the door and received my daughter. They were there for about2-3 minutes. Then my daughter came out. According to her (not sure how accurate it really is), the principal asked for her name, and her brother's name.... that was it! I don't know why it took 2-3 minutes tho if there's only 2 questions... so, i can't really help further here. the principal gave everyone a candy tho. Good luck everyone!

same as you. my son had interview at 9:00am..we waited outside of the school, then a lady opened the door, checked the interview letter, birth cert etc.....and wait for 1 -2 minutes. Then, we went upstair, there was a L-shaped sofa, 5 story books on the small table. My son was the forth one to have the interview. I counted for the previous , only took 3 minutes, of course my son too...I asked what did the princple ask him? (not pretty sure ga..) he said he sat on a small chair, show him a picture card, asked some questions about the card. My son was not tell me clearly..so I was not sure how many questions he answered. When he came out, he had a 瑞士糖. i counted it took only 3 minutes too.

Just sharing !  My daugther interviewed a year ago, the time over 5 minutes but not got offer too.  Even Mrs. Fielding praised her doing excellent but we should know there is a lot of children with super excellent + good background, so pls do not take into account about the time.  

Relax !  Try best will be fine in this game.

My son just finished interview today. He is small boy, and he was inside 1-2 min only, same as the boy before him. I really doubt how they can decide by just seeing the children in such a short time. So, I think interview part may only count some %, there are other criteria for the decision. So, I guess we just take it easy and wait for the result.

BTW, my boy said he told her "triangle, rectangle, green, blue, fish", so I guess these were his answers, and then he said he drew a happy face too(not sure if it is really true ....)

I agreed that I have no idea about the interview from my kid. What is the criteria/ requirement to be accepted by school??? I think the school principal to know it.

Does anyone know if they only take big boys/girls?

1. My daughter already finished the interview ,she entered to the room for only 2 to 3 mins and told me that she did a good interview .I told her if CCKG don't accept her will not be a great deal and she will be stay at her precious kindergarten with all the old friends.So we 'll take it easy and I just want her to get the experience.

Their interview is absolutely wasting parent time. My boy is a small boy and went to their interview this moring. He went in for just 30 seconds. All interviewee on this morning were using around the same time like us.

My son told us when he went in the room, did a greeting, seating on the chair then standing up, giving a sweet and come out.

The principle said he did well done. Gosh, is she really sure????

So disappointed with their insincere, if so surprisingly we got offer, i doubt we will accept it.

What is his birthday month?
I am so afraid my kid face the similar situation.
Should we apply for leave from K1 & my work for interview???

Wow, they are still interviewing? My boy is small boy too (Nov, 06) and we did that on Feb 4. 30 seconds seems really too short though, on my day, we got about 1-2 mins (for those before us), that is already too short to me.
