i read the 2nd book (cant find the 1st one) and found it really good.  sometimes we thought we use the right method by disciplining and controlling.  on the other hand, it is best if we prepare the right environment so our children can develop the right habit and attitude themselves ... then everything comes more naturally.  found the first book now, just started reading.  reading the part about tv, fully agree.  think about it, i am grateful to my parents who always gave me all the freedom ... why cant i do the same.  all i need to do is to give him guidance to bring him to the right path.  :)

我都唔太認同幫小朋友做功課. 因功課係佢地自己的責任. 做得夜我頂多幫忙收拾書包, 但絕不會幫忙做功課, 大忌.

死啦，我睇完本書很愁呀。好囡囡現在是kg階段，但心儀的小學是谷的，貪派中學好。

但谷的小學就是多暴力作業和因功課太深，多數要大人陪伴做功課，最怕失了學習興趣。

大家有什麼見解呢？非常感謝，謝謝。

好多小朋友都好鍾意睇電視, 作者女兒也很沉迷"還珠格格", 但如果要睇完先做功課, 就會好夜先瞓, 作者於是讓女兒一邊做功課, 一邊睇電視, 因為抄寫功課不用腦 -- 這點我不同意, 因為功課始終是學生的責任, 而抄寫目的是要小朋友記住筆劃
另外, 作者認為多抄寫對認字冇幫助, 如果小朋友已認得那些字, 多抄寫會影響他們的自由時間, 所以他會幫女兒做功課, 但同樣地, 這是學生的責任, 將來出來做事也要講責任心
而且作者認為根本沒有所謂的多動症, 只是父母未能知道要怎樣帶孩子, 我覺得對那些小朋友的父母唔公平
最後, 作者認為要多閱讀, 我想這是很多父母都知道的道理

我未睇哂, 不過一開頭巳令我很感觸. 作者點辛苦都堅持自己湊大孩子, 說孩子在自己身邊長大會有安全感等等. 我睇到有點激動, 因為我的孩子頭兩年不在我身邊我到現在也耿耿於懷.
