蘇浙(local stream) vs St.Catherine (英粵班),仲係決定吾到,點攪???

Yes,that is true,now, they are studying in York, every month over $10,000.  If including other activities, it is really cost alot.  Before I think only without voucher KG will have NET and manderine.  
I really cannot believe have Voucher KG can have such language envirnment to provide to us.  

If it is famous, then will be even better, as I know there Primary and Secondary is just so so.  

But anywhere I don't have st.cat offer, thus, no need to think, hehe.

in my opinion, i will definitely switch to KCS coz
1) you have twins which is really expensive
2) KCS is famous for mandarin (given it's a school with voucher)

我的bb考到蘇浙n班, 知道是間好學校, 但因住在東九龍, 怕沒有保姆車所以還不知去唔去讀 (唔讀好似有啲可惜)...請告知有關保姆車資料 (車程需時多久 / 車資 / 聯絡電話...)

for your information and in response to earlier post: SC current K3 fees is about $4237, 10 installment. No other fee except the books and stationery fees about once or twice per year.

Friendly reminder: Please be reminded that the kids at St Cat has good Eng not (only) because of the English teacher there. A lot of them have many extracurricular activities including phonics, so please, don't think simply SC = Good English!

Both KCS and SC are great schools, and I really don't think one is second tier while another is first tier. It is just that SC parents are relatively much more aggressive and target the top primary schools for the kids and would do a lot for their kids to achieve such goal.

If I were you I would have such headache too!

But st.Cat. is only Eng/Can class, not Eng/Manderine, I think you can teach them good eng by bring him/her to outside playgroup.  Many st.Paul kg also no NET,still ok.

如果住在九龍及經濟能力許可，我選St Cat。相反，經濟負擔很大，就無謂勉強了，始終蘇浙也是很好的學校。另外，我覺得作為家長並不一定要為子女選擇最一流的幼稚園，二線也是很好了！

That's what I want they really learn, I believe EQ is more important than IQ development, probably traditional school is good for a younger children.

不過要有心理預備,蘇浙只間好傳統的學校,要是你想tain 小朋友禮貌品德應該無問題,但老師要求嚴格,太活潑四圍走的則不太適合,可能要見家長。

另外我是住TKO,校車絕不是問題,因有唯一一間保母車承接 (今年是1200車費),而坦白說保母車的安全帶比校車更安全,因佢是好似BB車安全帶設計。唯一是保母車不可進入學校,而要於校外上落車。

上年我仔仔都係有St Cat AM offer(英粵)及蘇浙 AM offer,最後我都選擇了蘇浙,原因都是學費問題, 蘇浙本身都已是英普,當時我想慳回的學費可以出面再補英文,而且st cat 今年K1 已是過4千,計埋車費真的好貴,唔係俾唔到,而係值唔值! 而且佢年年都加5-10%學費,那K3 那年學費會是什麼情況呢

When I received the letter, I was so happy,because only a few offer given to them.  

Yes, the teacher was so nice and like them very much, keep asking them questions,and tell others they are very smart, I asked my child sing the songs 大象 using Manderine, and my kids they don't know how to speak Cantonese and only using English, teacher asked me to ask them questions using english, but still accept them, I really suprise.  Thus, I found this school is really fair.  

At the beginning, she asked the animals, I kept pointing all the animals from the book, my babies answers very fast and accurate, I think have around 20 animals.  

After that, I asked teacher to write any english words to test them, she wrote around 4 words, and she suprise they can answers and she found so happy on that.  

But finally, she said, oh but your children are so small, I don't know her meaning is her body size so small or the age....thus, I expect another waiting or reject....

meimei223, both of your twins got accepted in KCS AM?  Feel so happy for you :)  Bet they must have done well in the interview.
