Sorry, please excuse me 搭嘴.  我女是小一. 本星期六（長週）, 我女班主任仍然要他們背默弟子規 和讀默兩課中文,  所以她要同時準備所有這些默書, 包括英默考試, 所以沒有時間準備下週的考試.  有點不明白為什麼 kum 趕.  Sorry 訴下苦者.

I gave up 創意默書 la!  For us, Chinese is so rush.  For 中練 ex. 17-23 which is the scope of the upcoming exam, but we still haven't been assigned to do ex. 20-23.   ai ya!

做功課我當係温習架喇。

26週應該係市面上最好既中文練習。

測考卷問既0野都唔係供簡單，所以剩係温熟本書真係唔夠；我反而會擺多0的時間比佢做練習，教佢解題目/測考既技巧，好實際，爲生存但係同時都學到知識既。

數學我幾鍾意課室小學出版0個0的，每個topic揀0的來做，陪吓佢教吓佢。

剩係温熟本書真係唔夠...................做功課我當係温習架喇.... agree ah so much!  The comprehension in their tests could not be prepared beforehand, so 教佢解題目 is very important.  Good luck us!

仲係初小，唔慣睇書好正常；學校自有方法（早讀/好書推介/中工作紙/户外寫作/等等），到小三到，就會自動自覺借好多書睇，同埋習慣睇長文字，呢0的要日積月累。

I am very puzzled about teaching her Chinese.  My girl always lost most marks in comprehension.  Just donno how to help her.  Even she read books quite often, it doesn't seem to help her a lot in tests.

I could only pray for her....

Daisy, how was her Chinese Exam? Hope she has tried her best. Sometimes we have to appreciate their efforts. Her reading habit is a good start. The next move is, though pragmatic, to guide her to FIND the RIGHT answer among the text.

Thanks for your care.  I thought she always tried her very best, just that she could not comprehend Chinese as good as English.  Just hope that she had not lost so much marks in that part.  She said to me her Chinese teacher told her that she improved "a bit" war!  Donno if this is true.

I have an idea.  I am thinking of getting her to read her P2 Chinese textbooks in summer once we collect her P2 books.  Hope this offers little help when she starts her P2.  Anything that helps a bit would ease up "my life" !!

If I were you, I will get some 補充練習 for her to do which focus on comprehension. Just get 1 or 2 good ones and do one chapter each day. She will improve given time and practice.

I like 樂思教育. They have some general purpose exercise as well as some only focus on comprehension. 26週 and the previous one used by the school are both from this publisher.

School will give them summer 補充練習 assignment as well. Don't push her too hard。
