I think SFXC has taken more than 90% band 1 students in  recent years. And my logic is - although not all band 1 boys are good in languages , at least their ability must be above  the average level in Hong Kong. And the results ofDSE in both English and Chinese  are just a bit higher than the average level of Hong Kong students.

Therefore, I really think SFXC can have much better results if the school management will focus on this issue.

PTA must push the school. Band 1 boys, but the result is of only average among all students in hk.

Obviously there is negative value-added component.

Perhaps we old boys can push the school thru our alumni network as well.

I just looked at the 2013 DSE results again. Language performance may be a bit disappointed but the 3 Maths subjects (Compulsory, M1 and M2) are phenomenal (5 - 5 ** > 40%), even better than some Band 1A schools.

The performance  of maths and other selected subjects seemed to be good.  But, the languages and LS is justsame  as the average level of Hong Kong(regarding to %of 5-5**). My concern is just the subject of English  will be a big obstacle  to enter the top Universities(三大).

The allocation of F4 selected subjects has just been announced from SFXC wed site. Do you satisfed with the results? Any form 4 parents can make comments?

我的兒子中一派位入sfxc，但懶惰少温晝，只係主科幾好但三科選修科差到貼地，因此中五要重謮。第一次差好多位先到補考條線，第二次少了m1平均分高J1了幾分,但侬然差幾個位先到補考條綠，又唔想寫信俾校長要求謮第三年中五，破哂紀錄(雖然我知有有少數人係)，所以被

所以被逼轉去垃圾學校讀中六，啲課程慢成本書，甚至中六完哂仲慢過sfxc所教的課程，令他覺得虚耗一年光陰，校園生活好唔開心，好想返sfxc上中六，結果dse成績不太理想，只係四個主科較好。佢覺得中六生活好空虛，完全冇學到嘢，亦想喺sfxc開始中學生涯，可以喺番sfxc結束中學生涯，好頭好尾有始有終，唔想人生留下遺憾同污點，每次諗起都痛苦到抽泣，作為家長見到都心痛同忠

捐款肯定不是辦法，70年代曾有超級富豪願捐巨款予校方也被拒，此事當年中外修士為此事曾作激烈討論，結果是保守派勝出，外籍修士也淡出。閣下情況最好還是不要用捐款作為籌碼，聖芳濟要是想拿錢，早就搬走了。

我都知捐錢確實有啲旁門左道，唯有靠人事關係，但我只係普通家長，又點可能似似電視劇般咁神通廣大周圍都有兩脇插刀嘅朋友，我哋只係基層家庭，可來有咁大筆捐款，唔通真係别無他法，註定我個仔做咗一年嘅門外生,就連喺原校謮中六嘅機會都完全被抹殺，呢個只係我哋小小嘅素願，莫非都係天荒夜談？

      我們都是一介草民，沒有特權，既然選擇此校，便遵從該校遊戲規則。但規則內有沒有人情可講，真要看現今領導層處事手法。還記得幾個月前在一次學校活動，與一位副校長閒聊，學校第一屆 dse中六生中，一位學生已有大學錄取，但拒絕入學，希望重讀中六，據他講以往因學位少，都不收重讀生，但在他哀求下，最後都留一位給這學生，但強調這是 very very special case
。
      現任新校長姚sir(傳聞)平易近人，是講道理之人，你可主動與他聯絡，就算最後遭拒決入學，都知道其因由，或許至少為自己以前錯誤的決定做補救。
