因29/9 (四) 颱風襲港教育局宣佈停課，是日小一面見日期將改於7/10(五)舉行，時間不變。校方稍後將會發放短訊通知受影響之學生家長。

I suggest write to the school sincerely and request for re-scheduling of the interview. It happened to my girls years ago when her first SPCC interview clased with her kindergarten graduation picnic. The school promptly changed the interview day for us.

However, I am not sure whether SPCC can accomodate so many requests for such change this year given the same day of DGJS interview.

Anyway, worth to try. SPCC's principal (new one but was promoted from vice principal), vice principal & teachers are very kind hearted, considerate & understanding.

Honestly, I don't believe they would black-list your girl even you disclose her interview with any other schools (e.g. dgjs). Her performance in the interview is crucial.

I have phoned to SPCC and asked for changing time for interview in case of necessary (last week).  It is replied that it is quite impossible to change for 1st interview due to too many applicants (~ 2,600).  Unless u have a very strong reason (I don't think clash with DGJS's interview is a good reason law), it is not likely to entertain your request in my view.  But I am quite sure that DGJS cannot be changed as I have phoned to DGJS this week.  The reply is "Impossible to change for any reason".  Thus, we are now making decision to choose if go to interview or not (clash with other school).  Just for sharing.  

U can try SPCC anyway.  But I think that there may have a query arisen from SPCC: Can u ask DGJS to change instead?

Yes, now the primary and secondary schools are counted as one.  But make sure you have the graduation certificate.

I still have not receive any interview letter, should i call st paul?

We are non-related & non-christian, submitted on 7/9, still not received any letter.  But I guess it may be normal.

By the way, if those on 29/9 are changed to 7/10, then it means originally there was no interview scheduled on 7/10?  Then does it mean all interviews have been scheduled before 7/10?

Any idea?

I have the same thinking.  Thus, I advised not to ask the school (esp. those schools like SPCC, DGJS, etc.) for change. Even through you have very very sound reason, I don't think they will entertain your request.

For us, we are making decision to choose which school.

Not sure if we got any letter today (already out to work), just afraid it will clash on 7 and 8 Oct as there are so many interviews on these 2 days, crossing my hands!

Called the school and they said if still no letter received by 12/10, can call them

I suppose the logic is that they schedule the interview and send out letters by batches.
Uptill yesterday, they have just scheduled upto 6/10 such that 7/10 can be kept for all those originally scheduled on 29/10.
Then they will resume sending out other letters for interviews from 8/10 onwards.

I think your logic is right.  I got the interview letter today scheduled on Oct 6.

From the time we walked into the school to the time we left, it was almost one hour and a half.  My daughter was in there for a good one hour and 15 minutes.  From what I could gather, there was a lot of waiting time for her.
