請問有冇人已收St. Paul co-edu interview 信 ?

Is that everyone was waited for a long time for the interview even the appointment was in early morning? Is it really very hot and no air con. during the interview or just only in the corridor? If my daughter wear long sleeve shirt, will she be too hot? Please if anyone can help me to clarify the matters. Thank you!

Hi Oasismcmug,

You all have to wait for at least an hour outside the classroom. Simply bring with a blouse for yr kid is good enough. But I think the air-con of the classroom is quite cool because my daughter's hands are cold when she left the room. Perhaps, she just dressed in the school uniform on that day. Don't worry, kids won't feel cold
for they would move up and down, left to right while awaiting their turns.

Thanks for your nice blessing. Have you attended the interview? Actually, I have not expected to be received the 1st letter that early because I hv no relationship at all but Christian (non-SKH).

Thanks for your kind words. It's good to know that so many parents here are Christians. We also think that our daughter will be fine no matter which school she goes to, but not because of her parents. It's because of God. :) We trust that He has already prepared the best for her. The most important thing for us as parents is to do our best to teach our kids the Words of God and to lead them to the Lord. When they have Jesus in their hearts, you will know that they already have everything they need :)

Yes we have already had our interview last Friday morning. We received the letter on the Saturday before. We are also in the non-related group and are non-SKH Christians. Which church do you go to? We go to Tung Fook Church in Causeway Bay.

All the kids will be interviewed by either the principal or the vice-principal.
Don't worry - both of them are very nice.

moved back from the State? As once there a mother has raised a question
in the seminar.

For sure the Principals have no barrier
when speaking in English with just
a 5 years old kid.

Why not she go for an Int'l school ? The interview at Int'l School is much more simple and easy.

根據封面試信上寫小朋友係需要面見校長, 但係點解有些小朋友只係見老師? 因為我朋友個囡囡都話唔係見校長.真奇怪?

No, she lives in HK. But her parents came back from UK and don't know Cantonese. Her parents hope she can know more chinese, thus don't let her study in Int'l school.

My girl had the interview yesterday for about an hour.  She said the teacher had asked how to pronounce her Chinese name (because one of the character in uncommon) and if she had brothers and sisters.  Then the teacher gave her a picture and asked her to remember the details, then asked ONE question about that picture.  She had the wrong answer anyway.  After that the teacher gave a book to her.  She told me the story book was not suitable for her as it had a full page of words not much pictures.  The teacher did not ask any question to the book, after she finished the book, the teacher asked her to go.  I am not sure if she told me the whole process.  Anyway good luck to everybody...
