Of course not all kindergarten has such disappointed feeling.

Actually, I chose the kindgergarten nearby, not because of its brand.  I found that TL is the best for the arrangement.  They will call you for interview and then letter and then when you come, they will allow you to observe their room and playground.  Principal choose students directly by story telling.  
我相信他們的candidate 也是很多。Number of candidate is not the excuse.
我只是奇怪how come SH 有那麼多parents 喜歡。Many come from Kowloon or NT....far away.  所以我才apply 看看有何特別。哈哈！
Note: 我已reject TL offer as I found the other one for my kids because their primary school is not the nearest from my home.

Anyway, 我只是實話實說，正負能量？哈哈！

Everyone can have their own preferences for certain.  Glad to know that you have found the right kindergarten that you and your family like.  Wish her the very best, and same to you!

人 in 你, 你 in 人. 情投意合就去讀. 我都覺得人多唔係藉口, 不過以我 in 左六間, 加埋大女以前經驗, SH 成個過程算係唔錯.

TL 做得好好, 但亦有佢不足之處, 只係對我無影響. 例如上落樓梯, 轉房轉幾間, 有家長都唔鍾意架.

Did I say it incorrectly earlier?  Sorry if I do!

I notice I am the only one who mentioned high number of applicants, but what I meant was with so many people within the campus, there are no spaces to open the playground only.  That is not an excuse, but a safety reason and simply because of not enough spaces only.  Any suggestions for better arrangement?

I tried to think if I have subjective view which affect my understanding on the situation.  Do most parents prefer to have playground to warm up in the kindergarten before the interview?  (I never thought of that since I always thought we warmed up the kids before we reach the kindergarten)  May be this is one of the area for "better" arrangement?

我無講清楚, 我指堅道TL, 大坑我就唔清楚了. 真的, 行樓梯同埋轉房. 我入房都入左三個, 樓梯, 上同落都唔記得幾多層. 但佢個流程係咁, 或者老師已經在行樓梯時計左分都無人知 .

唔好意思, 令你誤會. 關於多人申請呢點, 我唔係針對特定 post  或者人而回應的, 雖然我寫時有些印象係有人提及多人申請都可以做得好之類的說話.

SH 今次係可以有改善地方, 但都唔係好差, 唔開 playground, 我覺得無問題, 最重要係一視同仁, 無話開俾你但又唔開俾我玩. 不過比較唔好彩, 我遇到個老師又係 cool 果類, 天時地利人和都佔唔到, 奈何!

另外, 如果有心準備要考熱門學校, 做定資料搜集, 呢個年代係必須. 幾年前我女 in kinder 我已經知道, 中文, 應該話廣東話唔得, 主流本地名校真係未必太歡迎你啦.

我原先都咁諗, 朝早9.30 仲諗住阿仔最醒神呢個時間. 但果朝勁凍, 我地要係門口等到夠鐘至入得有如電影院咁. 裡面無得好似其他學校咁有得玩玩具/Playground, 反而係睇影碟~~不過我相信一樣有小朋友係可以IN 得好, 抵佢地表現出色考得入 . 至於IN 我位老師都係木無表情. 或者佢見我仔都係木無表情啦...

Sure I know you are talking about TL (caine road) since they don't have that much staircases in Tai Hang campus.

But to be fair, I guess they have little options there in Caine Road campus due to the structure of the building.  By the time my daughter walk to the third room, she already started to cry already!

其實我個人覺得聖心安排上, 要應付咁多小朋友+家長+工人..算係不錯, 而且學校有名氣, 始終係有不少批評, 但奈何還咁多家長申請, 有她好的原因, 一定比差的地方為勝., 特別是會interview small b, 其他香港區較出名的幼稚園, 連in都唔會比你in, 或者收到10月31日, 之後就唔收, 咁我覺得都好公平, 上次我真光個老師interview都麻麻地, 又趕, 不過最後我囡表現都ok, 都收咗am, 所以可能都有希望呢!  不是咁快灰心~

人選擇你時, 你都可以作出選擇, 面試只不過係俾個機會大家互相認識, 係, 幾分鐘既時間, 老師係好難評估小朋友既表現, 講真, 你做啱晒又未必收, 做得唔好又未必唔收, 有時都幾depends on運氣, 平常心面對! SH老師係好好, 絕對唔係戴花讚花香, 佢地好有愛心, 一D平時你留意唔到既問題佢地都留意到, 仲同你諗方法一齊解決問題, 絕對唔係為番工而番工, 我囡囡依家仲好鍾意番學tim!

I think SH interview process is very smooth and i am grateful that it didn't open up its playground. We were in St Nicholas interview in November, and it did open its playground. (I guess it open it up because it is quite a long wait) However, my girl was so into playing in the playgroud and was reluctant to enter the room for the interview.  I think opening it would somehow distract the child's performance. Also, i would rather be over the interview quick and bring my girl to somewhere more fun to play....
