I still think if applied..should go for interview even just gain an experience.. if dont go just becos the bad comments about DGJS here..then...

hehe...good for those will do the interviews la...we can increase the chance ....

我完全同意你的看法, 我見不少家長在報名時(在教職員面前)才填表, 寫信封, 面試時都是牛仔衭, T-shirt, 小朋友走來走去, 在等面試的時候, 家長跟小朋友大大聲讀英文書, 但所有英文完全無尾音, 係St. Paul Co-Ed 面試有小朋友入咗房等面試, 家長係外面等, 小朋友不停揭開百頁簾跟家長打招呼, 家長還跟他揮手, 最終要老師叫了到第二次, 跟佢嚴肅地講才停手。
其實當小女係女拔面試時,在登記及核對資料時, 我見到在交的application form, profile 中, 有一張對摺的紙, 寫滿字, 相信是校長在看過 profile 後的評語或得分, 所以我覺得校長事前已經 screen 晒所有 application form, 一早已經選定要收的學生, 其實在 profile 中已經係俾機會大家去爭取分數或入學機會, 這 profile 反映了小朋友的天份同能力, 甚麽比賽, 證書, 表現....不是已包含在內嗎？至於學術科, 在面試的通知書也要求家長帶學校成績表, 最後面試見吓小朋友對唔對板就决定收唔收。要知道, 學位只有這麽多, 要是你係校長, 你會點揀？我還未知道學校是否收小女, 但我也已經盡量做到最好, 也不覺得不公平, 當然亦唔相信單靠運氣可以考到。

Hello 咁多位,

我女兒昨天到dgjs interview, 我計左時, 我女入去見校長係有十分鐘既, 而且校長出來接d小朋友都好 nice, 十分鐘後帶返佢地出來都仍然係好好笑容 o 所以我覺得大家對人既觀點與角度唔同, 實有人滿意同唔滿意架啦, 我參與過就算架啦, post 上來係想話比未in既人知, interview有十分鐘架

其實好多學校都有好多有家底的學生, 有家底的家庭亦未必個個都鍾情DGS, SPCC, DBS...., 各人有各人的選擇, 有自己的教育理念, 而且DGS 亦有很多很多....普通家庭的學生, 家長們, 放心去考, 學生的能力比家底更重要. 你要信自己女兒的能力.

To all parent who is shooting DGJS (too many people say DGS, DGS is the secondary school).....What do you want to prove???

Okay. let's say DGJS has no interview or a 1 hour interview is implemented for each kid....does it mean it is fair and qualify????

If you kids are rejected by DGJS no matter you are qualify or not, you still will think it wastes you time no matter what DGJS do....because you are rejected, thoughts.

2-3 minutes interview:
You think DGJS waste you time

1 hour interview:
You just will think it waste you more time

no interview:
You will say it is not fair becuase you have no chance to show off.

SO What do you want?????

what's mean 九唔搭八? The original topic is challenging the unreasonable interview time (just a couple mintues) and said it's a show only (you though it too) so what is the perfect interview time or what interview pattern you prefer? I just show all possible scenario but seems nothing can fit the parent who is shooting DGJS.

That's why I post it and would like to know what you poeple want!!!!
