我女兒聖大取錄入讀K1, 現考慮讓她入讀聖大定真光.
想問問各家長知不知如入讀聖大幼稚園升讀 St. Paul Primary 的幾會是否高些? 因 St Paul Primary 是大抽獎及計分, 但又看到每年小一派位有很多人入 st Paul, 真的不明白. 如入聖大並沒幫助, 那是否入真光,將來再試派位穩陣D?
很難決定, 請過來人給點意見.. many thanks

以我所知,的而且確STMM每年都有唔少學生入到st paul primary,唔理關唔關stmm既關係事,其實TL & STMM 2間都係有愛心既好kinder~
但TL有小學back up,又可以join 1st & 2nd round既自行及lucky draw,我估TL係隱陣之選~當然STMM真係每年派位成績真係好好,但就無100% guarantee ~

any parents have experiences having their children in St. Margaret KG can get into St. Paul Primary?  Pls share your experience ... is that solely depends on the "mark" or "lucky draw"?

I heard some parents said:
1. Becuase many of the students live in the same zone, they would have some advantage
2. Many of the studnets of SMM have elder sisters who got into St Paul when the competition was not as bad, and hence the younger one can almost 'guarantee' a placement

現在，我同你面對的都是一樣問題了。我女兒都被TL & SMM(AM) 取錄。
很快又7/5要買校服了，宜家我都真係想到…………好苦。

SMM的派位會否因新校長加入而有否變，真係無人知。因為，上一個校長係與Marymount/St. Paul有好關系。

可是，現在擁有20分的太多了。

你可否說多點理由，SMM好過TL? TL有back-up(太吸引了、亦十分保險)，又可參加政治派位or自行interview！

雖然，我是灣仔區居民、教徒、大女……但我們小朋友這幾年學位上的競爭太大了，有TL的保險再去博其他會否好些呢？

如入了Marymount/St. paul，(Band1) 我都怕我夫婦(在職)都未能追貼Band1繁重功課及參與校內活動or同老師or其他家長搞關係！平日放完工，都未必見到女兒了…….(We’re On Shift duty) 點搞？  但自問作為家長唔係要安排一條好路比小朋友咩？搞唔掂至再找另外一間？

還是，為女兒找一所較開心無太大功課壓力的學校較好？對在職父母的我們好！

我還在想……. 到爆頭了！

Really, if you choose TL then you can guantee a place in the priminary school, so they can spend less time going to other classess etc.  While you are on shift it may be difficult for you to bring her to those classes and also for myself I would prefer to spend more time with her rather then pushing her to do this and then do that.

If I think better I would have let my girl to go to TL instead.  Now my younger daughter will be going to SMM next year (becasue her sister is already there)

Of course, it is my own opinion.

STMM & TL 2間都係有愛心又無壓力既好幼稚園, 既然TL有back up guarantee仲可以join埋政府lucky draw,其實都好易取捨姐~ (ps. this is my own opinion )

今年到我有呢個煩腦，小女都係被TL&STMM取錄，而家又係心大心細讀邊間，因為兩間都係好學校，TL有小學BACKUP又可參加大抽獎，而STMM過去既大抽獎/自行都派到好好既學校，如Marymount，不過唔知是否家長是catholic / OLD BOY / OLD GIRL，請問有冇家長可以再分享，謝謝！

我的女兒是因為20分而在第一round入到st. paul's primary catholic school.....

不過, 以前我聽人講...叩門時讀聖大會有幫助....這個不得而知....
