people give up GH all because of the school fee, very expensive, not everyone can afford.3770per month.
If money is not a problem, sure win Good Hope, new campus, indoor swimming pool, 設備齊完.good english standard. and Secondary school but
宣小,small campus,no swimming pool.死谷, no secondary school

GH English should be better.
School fees differs several hundred only.
GH is also 死谷.
I like 死谷, so I prefer GH.

我囡囡是gh小一生。這一年來我都不覺得學校是死谷。功課平均都是5至６樣（有時更包括改正 ）。測驗及考試前會有quiz，但功課會明顯少。

宣小 English standard is very high because students in P.1 also write complete sentences in the test. In P.2, students have to do 1 minute oral presentation ( only can see the picture for 2 mintues). In musical area, the standard in APSKT is much higher than GH. I know some GH girls still do not know phoincs in P.3. For me, of course 宣小:D :D

I do not know much about 宣小.

I have a friend whose girl is studying in GH.  The standard of GH is relatively high as they are studying one level up.

I agree that 宣小 is relatively more 死谷.  This attributes to the fact that it does not have secondary school and its students have to fight hard for Band 1 secondary school.

GH is said to be more relax in this area (but not that relax in general).

I would be more inclined to select a school that have secondary section that (1) I do not need to bother a few years later; (2) there is a trend that more and more good and reputable schools will become DSSs, hence, fewer choices being left a few years later.

Besides, one may have also to consider what is your target secondary school after 6 years in 宣小.  If it is one with similar "grade" or "level" as GH, why don't go for GH upfront.  I cannot think of many that could be better than GH except DGS, St Paul Co-edu but they are all DSSs.  There may be the chance of getting into Maryknoll but I am afraid places will be very limited as a majority of those is reserved for its primary graduates.

Since I am Catholic and mine is a girl, I will definitely go for GH.

Academically for your choosing the school in objective way, you could visit to APS web-site to see the past performance first.

You can see that some girls after P.6 could enter into DGS, St. Paul Co-ed, Heep Yunn, MCS, St. Paul Convent which are top band one secondary schools. The selection of APS or not quite depends on your consideration the probability of whether you kid could get in  apex of the class.

宣小中文數學科又如何呢?  中文是用普通話教嗎?

甘就更加不值,除非佢中學所有學生sure win 派到band 1 名校!$5000讀ST. Paul, DGS, DBS 都值的,起碼有中學作後盾!

大頭媽媽講的很中肯。我女兒都是這個理由忍痛放了宣小和SFA這些沒有中學的好學校。
我不知GH是不是比這等學校好，但有間幾好的中學做後備，對我來講太吸引了。
