每年Pre-Junior 和 Junior的Piano表演是必看的項目。

兩歲,Recital Hall & Concert Hall的節目未必可以入場。不過在地下和一樓大堂的節目,就一定可以觀看,留意各項表演的時間。

有Pre-Junior或Junior小朋友表演的項目。
Beginner給初學而Pre-Junior已是學習中,升Junior之前的課程,詳情可上網頁觀看,Open Day那天各系還有一段時間讓家長問問題。

My girl is 8 years old. Learnt piano for about
one and a half year with a piano teacher in Music Shop (as usual, not very famous type).

She has passed Grade 2 Piano Exam with 138 marks in last August. And has got 1st place in HK Student Open Competition (Level 2 Piano).

As we are totally green in Music, we can't judge if she really gets any potential or real interest
in this field or not. So, we plan to let her apply for some Music courses in the APA (at least to give us a chance to widen our scope of horizon).

Will she be too old and a bit late to apply for the Pre-Junior Music Course ? Or else
shall we wait for a while and let her pass
at least Grade 5, and then try to apply for Junior level ?

Any possible advice ?

想問吓各位家長，小兒11歲，佢學緊piano&violin，是否只可報junior music course?係咪要揀一樣樂器做主修？考試時是否要考指定樂器？是否多數收番pre-junior的學生？如果係，咁咪得好小人考到？學費大約幾綫？謝謝有經驗的家長回答我咁多問題。

1.....11歲應報考Junior
2.....可同時分別報考piano & violin
3.....Junior考試時自然要考指定樂器
4.....pre-junior升Junior是合理的事
5.....能夠考入Junior的學生自然不多
