在334制度下，傳統名校還有沒有優勢呢？

請問大家，在334制度下，傳統名校還有沒有優勢呢？
傳統名校指: St. Paul Co-ed, St. Paul Convent, Marymount, DBS, DGJS,庇理羅士女子中學, 喇沙書院, 皇仁書院, 瑪利諾修院學校（中學部）, 恩等等。

我知: 佢地有辦法拎到所謂restricted既資料例如marking scheme之類
(唔好笑, 我以前讀果間中學, 真係無老師ever講過咩叫marking scheme的)

You can buy HKCEE & HKALE marking schemes from HKEEA or book shops.

她們的優勢源自她們的傳統和歷史，在家長心中所建立的地位，因此有較佳的學生，支援力較強的家長和出色的校友。部份名校更因而有較佳的資源，更好的校舍。

334下，不但無損這些優勢，而且部份名校更有能力發展334以外的課程。

Not necessary 避 , why not go for a better choice if you can?

Ken, if you know NSS copy IB partially with limited effort, I will go for IB after serious consideration.

1. Motivate girls to finish IGCSE and opt for non-JUPAS and through EAS get into university with limited competition.

2. Other boys and girls lack for public exam experience, the first public exam will be HKDSE. Those girls have first hand experience before HKDSE.

Sister Margaret 係好有心得, 佢好有準備, 但都要d學生夠smart才能夠配合相輔相成, SPCS並不是浪得虛名.

Of course, just see how many girls got into universities through EAS with IGCSE results....... from SPC.

As so many parents urged to cancel HKCEE and HKALE, then replaced by HKDSE. Up to now, I can't see much benefits. But some elite schools led by smart principals and "Powerful board of directors" to counteract our educational reform in "right" & better direction.

Hi AnChan59 & everyone :想請問，那麼在334下，傳統名校若有舉辦IGCSE/IB才會有優勢，對嗎？E.G. DBS,SPC, St. Paul Co-ed etc.

I have very limited knowledge on 334, and I am going to start it off now right after my kid having got into F.1.

Allow me to get the piece-by-piece discussion to come up some picture.

May I know whether it means that SP Convent allows their students to take IGCSE before they take the DSE? Once they take the IGCSE, they will take the DSE?

And, taking the IGCSE can help students get into U through EAS easier (with limited competition)? May I know more?

SPC係中二選科, 中四考igcse既, 之後學生要決定中五中六讀GCE A-LEVEL還是NSS考DSE. 依家已經冇咗EAS, 今年9月SPC拔尖入咗U既係上年考IGCSE既中四考生同埋考HKCEE既中五生. 因為有o的中四考生拔到尖, 所以佢地跳咗一級讀中六, 同中五拔尖o個班今年一齊9月入U.

SPC will not have final examination in Form 4. They just treat GCISE as their school final examination.
There’s not extra pressure on students as they need to work hard for the final examination in order to get promote to F5 even they don’t attend GCISE. The most important is that students are well trained for the interviews and they can get good offer from universities.
