如果唔駛，買最平那部 kindle 可以了，就叫 "Kindle" or "Kindle 5"

如果小朋友睇新書多嘅話要KINDLE FIRE至得(啱啱買咗部俾阿囡, 因為佢睇好多Geronimo Stilton, 要$2K+

), 舊款出唔到彩色.

Kindle books 有啲係 scan 成的，如 Geronimo，呢啲 resolution 低，放不大來看，我覺得比睇實體書更壞眼。

Kindle Fire 不是 e-ink 的，我先生以前有一部，佢俾親啲細路用我就會哦佢，哦到佢⋯ 賣咗喇！

千其唔好用kindle fire. 等如一部 iPad 咁傷眼。孩子下下用一兩小時看書，不得了。

Kindle Fire 個 mon 仲細過 iPad, 如果一定要睇彩色 pdf or ebooks, 我寧願用 iPad

It is not about money. The biggest advantage is the fact that Kindle reader is NOT color, the eink display is paper-like.

The more bizzare a thing is, the less mysterious it proves to be.

根據上年的經驗，香港的Kindle代理會在香港書展展銷Kindle。

如果你不太急的話，可以在書展時現場慢慢問揀到啱為止，而且他們可能做現場特價銷售。

請問...即係Kindle 黑白係唔傷眼的嗎? 如果在晚間無開燈下睇得唔得唔, 傷唔傷眼?
我都心思思想買部俾自己. 等書展時去入貨.

簡單地講，用傳統的Kindle（不包括Kindle fire) 看書就像看實體書一般，黑麻麻唔開燈就睇唔到，在光線不充足或用不好的姿勢去看都會壞眼。

我得部 Kindle Keyboard & Kindle, Keyboard 可以發聲，記憶中 Touch & Paperwhite 都可以發聲，不過你要 reconfirm 呀，我唔肯定！

我在上年書展買咗Kindle keyboard 及Kindle touch，兩部都可發聲。不過要提一提Kindle keyboard已是太舊款，Amazon都不再提供軟件升級。

我比較過 keyboard, touch, kindle 4/5, 中，keyboard 的字我覺得最靚，contrast 最高。

Firmware 好似幾個月前 update 過。講真kindle 不同手機，我不要多 update。

不正確用，梗係傷害眼睛。問題係Kindle fire and other tablets，正確使用也十分傷害眼睛，因為係直射光。

Audiobooks 我屋企無人鍾意，不過個 text-to-speech function 用嚟查下發音都唔錯的

You can listen to audiobooks purchased from Amazon, i.e. Audible.com, on any ipad or iphone with their Audible.com app. What the Fire does that Paperwhite cannot do is Immersion Reading whereby the audiobook is played with the text displayed and real-time highlighting of the word being read.

For any children who have a decent level of English listening, they don't need Kara Okay style subtitle and highlighting to understand appropriate level audio books. The nice thing about audio books is precisely not needing your eyes. Reading subtitle is kind of defeating the purpose. That immersion is not very useful IMO.
