I am not familiar with HK Preschool

All I know is that it is a small school with very limited seats as compared to larger schools like KV or St Cat.

But don't select that school only because it is hard to get in.  Select a school which matches your expectation.

Even though I don't go to Fannyee playgroup, but she once said something during the promotion seminar which I profoundly agree.  Go to the school at the time school ends and just observe the kids.  If you think, the kids' behaviour and all are to your liking, this is the school you want your kid to be in.

讀緊playgroup都一樣要interview, 一樣咁難入

佢地既playgroup一樣咁難入，我申請左好耐一D消息都無，打過去問就只係話有位就會通知，原本諗住如果入到佢地既playgroup會大機會D入到PN同kinder，睇黎都係無機會。。。。。。

but is it that those already in playgroup dont need the 1st interview. which means they are straight into the 2nd interview

and those not in their playgroup need both 1st and, if any, 2nd interview

No. Still need to conduct the interview but just during playgroup session.

Playgroup kids more.advantaged.as interview conducted dduring playgroup.  But yes, some kids didn't make it to PN

my child is studying at upper kornhill victoria since May 2013 when my child was 15 months. the teacher got to know her, and she is familiar with the style, so she may have a bit more advantage over other children.

on a separate note, my child's interview success rate is above average. going to playgroup helps her.

唔係喎，讀佢既pg我聽朋友讀緊既講係唔駛特別interview,但佢係in class assessment , 其實又唔可以話佢超著數，唯一著數在喺玩開既班就梗係會發揮得好，又唔怕醜

playgroup讀緊一定要1st in, 只不過地點改左係上playgroup既地方, interview既老師都唔係平時既老師

2nd interview以我所知應該唔係人人都要, 我識得有人 唔係讀開playgroup無2nd in都收左

好多讀playgroup既小朋友都入唔返pn
