Any minimum age require for start learning <健腦操> ? Can you tell what will the child learn from <健腦操> class ? Which organisation are you recommend ?

I am taking the 健腦操 class at Heep Hong now.  The instructor is from the following centre.

Hello

Two yrs  before (age 7) gongon hv used brian gym for training, result great!  Some base exerises are very sample even for yr small kid can handle.
But be understanding that all the exerises that train the brain or said call up the the brain may cause some re-actiion .  That time my boy hv hot temper & become a small bb while training for first 2 weeks.  Afterwards everything back to normal. the result are - he can sit a bit longer to read & write, he can write more word & more good (not like Madug writing anymore).
need pratise everyday, after finished all the training, the kid will NOT be back to before 打回原形, since the problem occurs before was solved.  Of course, brain gym can't solved all problems in each kid, you know our kid hv many other problems nei....

gongon is now still keep on another kind of training, everything under schedule! My target is help him back to normal 2 years later, than assist him the develop his gifted parts.

Thanks for yr sharing. Do you hv any comments on Dore Program? My child does not have dylexsia but I want to reduce his impulsiveness. We've joined Dore last year but can't continue since he's not cooperative.

Hi ABBmom,

I've join the seminar on Jun & visit their centre last mth.
They sound good, but if only target on 小腦 I don't think enough. I was thinking for more than a week whether join this program or not, but once my trainner back HK and give me some report about this kind of training, than i drop it down & don't think any more.

Be honest, my boy's training is on schedule & hv good result.  so need not to running up & down to find another....

He is now under "INPP" & "children relief"神經反射, some exerise really like Dore, may be can say Dore like theirs, but only some....

I have attend a individual brain gym session for my child. She is now primary 4. After several session her writinf , comprehesion is better, the confidence improved a lot. The instructor is very experience. She now training her long term memory. I am so happy to find a good treatment for her so just share this to all of you.

今晚才忍不住流淚, 我囡的成效不怎麼辦. 我已想放棄了. 因她不肯盡力做有關運動. 只是很求其做, 求其程度是讓人看了非常生氣. 而杜耳說象我女兒的情況要做一年半以上.

但之前有一個忘記是小五還是小六的女孩做了幾個月, 某些學科有進步(不是全部學科), 數學拿了有史以來的首個一百分.

我剛上過一些親子健腦操, 我覺得若持之以行去做, 係對讀寫障礙小朋友有效, 因為導師也是過來人 (本身的兒子有學障), 所以會特別留意到我哋班小朋友的問題.
不妨到特殊學習障礙協會看一看, 有時他們也會有親子或家長健腦操班, 不妨一試, 對大人也work的.
