Does anyone know when the DBSPD interview will be held?

I received a advertisement email from KinderU. It mentioned that the interview will be held on 27 or 28 Oct. Is that true?

Probably true as you can see the school has reserved these two days for G1 admission interveiws on their website's calendar.  The days have been set already at the start of the school year.  Not a big secret la ...

If you put it this way, DBSPD's competition is more keen than St. Paul's co-ed as they only accept boys.  The number of applications can be double if they also accept girls.

They have 5 classes,whereas St. Paul's Co-ed has only 4 class and 70% for related ppls. Seems more fair for the unrelated applicants.

Some of my friends didn't apply SPCC for the chance is low (boy -apply DBSPD,girl _apply DGPS). Actually some of them is quite smart.

Like SPCC, DBSPD would also give privilege to affiliated parties such as old boys & SKH, though the percentage is unknown or may not be as high as 70%.

Thus, the chance of getting into DBSPD is not higher if no relation...

Right??

DBSPD scheduled 27th and 28th Oct for the interview days, but I suspect how can they interview almost 1800 candidates within 2 days.

Right...  it's not a secret, the "marking scheme" for this year was released during the briefing session - affiliates will get 10 points out of 100.  If not an affiliate, you won't get that 10 points.

I remember there was a parent asking the admission rate of related parties when I attended the first briefing.  The principal said only 10+ students every year (I can't remember the exact figure).  Believe it or not.

Hi All

My friend already apply for Grade 1 tofDBSPD together with a portfolio and she told that there
are seldom of parents to provide a portfolio to DBSPD, they only provide the academic
certificate copies instead of portfolio ("folder"). Since she did not attend to the seminar, can anybody tell whether this is a request from DBSPD?

It is told in the seminar that parents should not waste time and money preparing fancy portfolio.  The teachers may have time and patience to read through extra information about 5 pages.
