But as I heard from my friend (her elder son studied at P3), last year there were quite a lot of related applicants failed to have 2nd interview !

Assuming 2,600 applicants and 140 places. 70% reserved for related applicants, then:

(a) when 600 related applicants get 98 places, the unsuccessful 502 applicants will be disappointed; and

(b) when 2,000 unrelated applicants get 42 places, the unsuccessful 1,958 applicants will be disappointed.

I would expect SPCCPS will select kids under the following criterias:
1. Politeness
    (Greetings and Educate your kid manner in
     playing toys with other kids)
2. Good Presentation Skill
    (Trained by story telling, include designing the
     content of story)
3. Good Memory
    (Trained through the picture observation)
4. Logical Mindset
    (Try to guess and ask your kid some scenario
     type questions, say for example, if your kid
     sees two classmates in fighting, what can you
     do in that moment....)
5. Common Sense
     (Skill for answering basic questions such as
      name, age, travel...)   

In my opinion, the 2nd interview is just a character checking with the parents. The principal will observe and consider whether the parent's attitude and educational background fits with school's goal and vision.

Frankly speaking, I truly believed that school had
followed the marks of first interview to select the applicants....because, in the second interview, the Principal Mrs Lee repeatedly said the appreciation of my son in first interview performance....basically there is only one or two very causal questions to ask me...I don't think those "causal" questions can determine my son's application.

About 30 minutes. The Principal Mrs Lee used more than two-third of interview time to introduce the school life, school expectation on kids and school ultimate goal/vision.

St Paul Co-ed has started calling for 2nd interview today since 2:00pm for those who had 1st interview on the first 2 days!

Good Luck!  My child had 1st interview on the third day so if I dont receive any call tmr then I have no hope!!!

Have u got a call ?  or U know someone had got the call?  Is the child belonging to related group or the chidren is studying in related kindergartens like SKH?  You child is also belonging to?

That child is studying HK Island side no.1 Kindergarten! had the 1st in on 24 or 25 Sept!

no call for us so far.  My child had 1st interview on 26 Sept.  Will see tmr!  Just make sure my cell will be fully charged  tmr!  I am very panic!  Dont think can sleep tonight!

If you know someone had the 1st interview after you and received the call that means you have no hope!
