12 homework a day kills the student's quality time at home. How can he have time to enjoy any reading on daily basis? If none, how can he improve his language ability continuously? This affects not just dictation but the performance in most language aspects.

Instead of just focusing on short term quick fix, please make a long term improvement plan too.
