I live in Kwai Hing, also very far away from school.
School bus by Pak Po, yes you are right, Mrs. Lau is very  :tongue: my girl arrives home at 1pm! If there is no arrangement by Pak Po, you may try others. My friend's daughter studies in SJC in Kowloon Tong, and she lives in MA ON SHAN, SJC's school bus stops at Sun Plaza.

Since HMT Victoria has pre-nusery classes, in which many students will normally go to K1 directly without any interview. So for your case, the number of seats for K1 should not be too many. Last year, known from BK, don't know it's true or not, only 20 seats for K1 newcomers, but a thousand something applicants SO easy interview but difficult to get in!

Don't worry and be happy
Just to let you know that one of the reasons I've applied this school is "no question to the kids" because my daughter is still talking in "baby talk".  Even right now, she is ok in english but not good in cantonese, is better that she can understand everything and can communicate with her teacher.
I remember that last year I'm really really worry about her interview because of her "baby talk", but finally she did so and so in every interviews even she can't talk very well but she understand and know what to do just like in matching puzzles, singing, colouring etc...
So try to relax !!

Dear Manmanbaby,

I am also considering sending my son to Victoria Causeway Bay.  Which class is your child attending to (Eng w/ Mandarian) or (Eng w/ Cantonese)?  Either one is good?

My daughter is having Eng/Cant. class becasue I don't know to speak Mandarian and my daughter is still having "baby talk".

Yes, I will and how about you?
For the school bus, I called the # that you've given to me but "NO SERVICE" to my place
So, it will remain the same plan that I drop her to school and go home by school bus which costs $1200 for single trip and $1500 for round trip.

Of course, not "ak Po" la, Mrs. Lau said that there is no service to Ma On Shan, so that I found a "street school bus" which a guy pick my daughter to Kowloon Tong to meet others kids then directly to Ma On Shan.  
Remember to buy the Chinese gown for coming Friday party la

Refer to the list that "ak Po" (HMT Victoria school bus company) provided in this year, there is service to Kwun Tong which is to Laguna City or Metro City, if you want to make sure, then you can contact Mrs. Lau at 25778137 for reference.

2) If so, what is your comment towards the pre-nursery and nursery teachings ?(pre-nursery = playgroups ?)

3) For the Eng/Man class, are they taught by native speakers ?

4) For Eng/Man class, do they use each language  during half of the class hours ? Or each on a day ?
