Yes, really.  Some parents sent their kids to IS, then changed to local school. Some kids can't cope with local school system.   Their parents want to send them back to IS.  Poor kids. :(

所以要想清楚究竟想個小朋友的將來係點先。坦白說，我亦見過成功轉型的小朋友。坦白說，Year 1先入去讀，係一年入面的將會學習到的學識有幾多，你我心中有數。我朋友說小朋友的適應能力很強的，故不用擔心。而我見到她的小朋友又真係很快適應本地學校的生活呢。

我這樣說不是鼓勵或鼓吹別人有樣學樣，應該每個家長在作決定之前應該是由小朋友的喜好而作為大前題，如果學習在一個開心和穩定的環境下進行一定是對個小朋友的是有好處的。每個小朋友的性格都唔同，有些適應力強，有些弱，不能統一的說，全部都可以做到由國際/本地轉去本地或國際的學校的。故要三思。

Yes, I know a kid studied in ESF Y1 and then changed to a very famous local school for a few years, but the kid is not happy and now want to change back to ESF again, but the waiting list is very long and it becomes very difficult to slot in.

I also want to send my son to study there. I think he should apply for Grade 6 or 7. Is it really difficult to get in? My son is studying in local school (not famous).  I'm afraided my son's english standard cannot fulfil their requirement. But I think their requirement for higher grade student is higher than lower grade student. That means, it is more and more difficult for them to accept my son. What should I do??

Entering Y7 of ESF schools is very difficult now as the no. of space is very limited, it is now not even guarantee for those who joined primary at Y6.

Renaissance College may still have vacancies for outsiders.

My boss's son has gone to UK to have further study.
Basic english is very good, so you may go everywhere or famous unversity for further study.

I remembered he was go to int'l school in P4, it is so difficult at the first year.  AFter few year, he speaks fuient english and writing is very good.  Also they need to have dictation once a week.
The tuitor fee is around 5000 per month
