My son is now learning piano at a neighbourhood 琴行. The teacher is quite nice and cheerful.

I've also enrolled my son for the violin class arranged by WY. Does anyone know about the music institute? How many boys in each session? Who are the teachers? In what way are these teachers better than others?

Timetable 是不是有寫左d shortform 呢? 去年仔仔的timetable 有寫 -
PLE = Primary Longman Express = text book
EW = Primary Longman Express WORKBOOK
R&W = 應該是 : Reading & Writing 嗰本exercise.
List= Listening Book (去年一開學, 交回老師keep)
Penm = Classroom Handwriting
Dict = Dictation
GE = General English Exercise Book (啡色功課薄)
GP = Grammer Practice
Comp = Composition Exercise Book (啡色功課薄)
EERS = 閱讀如此多FUN

希望以上資料合用.

Does it mean we follow the weekly timetable to pack school bag, and not the daily handbook?  The weekly timetable only spelt out english subject, not others.  But thanks, I'll try to refer to that & see how it goes.

話比佢地知邊日默書，邊日Reader，邊日作文等等...
但小一生都係唔知又或者唔識寫番落去，
所以，我覺得有需要可以打比班主任，
亞仔小一時，我成日搵班主任架！煩到佢，嘻嘻...
叫Number唔叫名，可能未認得晒40 個學生，
亞仔成日叫人Number 既，連班帶number 咁叫！
我成日同佢講咁樣好無禮貌，而家監Dun 咩？！

麟媽媽,
I feel that the books to bring to school are a bit messy.  Sometimes my son said he needed not do a certain homework, but it appeared as an homework item on his handbook!  I have not called his teacher so far, I only wrote a short message but she did not respond to me, except once when she asked the IT teacher to call me instead.  Anyway, still adapting.

Dear all,
I used to think the teacher to students ratio in Wah Yan was high.  I just found that P1 at St Paul's Convent was even higher!

Hi, does anyone know if the class teacher of 1A2 is pregnant?  I am not sure if she has a tummy or pregnant.  My son said she was pregnant & this was going to be her 3rd child!  As such, she'll be on maternity leave during the school year lol!

Dear fellow Primary 1 parents,
I ran into problems everyday this week (since there is no photo of the handbook on the internet in Oct).  My son's teacher keeps writing "homework missing".  BUT my son did do his homework & I helped him pack his school bag, so he couldn't have missed it!  There was an occasion where he didn't bring his workbook home and we couldn't do the homework then..... All sorts of combinations.  

What makes matter worse if I can't figure out the teachers' Morse code - they scribbled or simply circled on the handbook.  By the time I called the teachers, they might have left school & the problem was dragged to the following day.

Last Sat I went to pick up my son from school & I heard his head teacher kind of screaming at the top of her voice through the mic.  The head teacher in the other P1 class was much more gentle.  I was surprised when I spoke to Ms Leung (Chinese teacher), she seemed very soft too.  

Does anyone share the same feeling or experience?

想問下大家個本閱讀如此多分, 係唔係老師派架? 幾時派架? 亞仔一路都無, 至上星期同老師反應, 先補返一本, 係咪一本中文, 一本英文架?
