我雖然不開心一個week (由於沒有dbs 2nd interview), 但今天知道聖芳濟收了小朋友.更加喜出望外.每位小朋友都有其長處,不要隨便抹黑其他人,大家都有權發表意見,以和為貴

我的仔仔除了sfa和培僑收了外,ying wa 和 陳守仁都2nd interview. 唯獨dbs 連2nd interview 都沒有.我最初都相信可能dbs喜歡收有點關係的人.但細心想下,假若你做dbs校長,也不會完全不理資質去收生而影嚮校譽.我覺得我兒子有時表現可能有反覆,再加上dbs巳interview 多年,他們或choose 性格和他們學校相合的人(尤其我知道1st interview 很多時間都是給小朋友玩和看電影),可能我的兒子在他們觀察下失了不少分數

p.s. however, later i get phone call from dbs ? missed call

I agree with clpp !
My son was lucky enough to get a place in grade one this year but we have zero marks in relationship column of
first round. What we have were lot of certifcates,acadmeic result, intensive training and a little bit of luck. Two other
boys in same class of K3 were also accepted, they also
have no relationship with DBS. Over 40 boys from the
same kindergaten were accepted, many of them have no direct relationship with DBS. I think this is because the training og this kinder is well matched with the direction of DBS. I do think some students were accepted thro' underground channel. However, similar situation happen in many
school such as LS, SPCC, YW...Therefore I still think that
the system of DBS is able to select outstanding students they wanted.

Parents tend to be very quiet during the period of second
interview (same happen last year). No one want to talk
about their experience because of ' two choose one' close
competition. I fully understood !!!!  

The most important is to find a most suitable school for
your child but not the most famous.

It should be KV, right?

My elder son had no relationship with DBSPD before and he is also a lucky grade one student in 2007-2008.  So, try your best and the panel will know which "right kids" are wanted for the school!

照正常情況, 有得2nd interview 先至會有機會收"備取信", 但其實我都聽過話有人無得2nd interview都收到, 不過都只係聽聞, 未目睹過, 所以...我傾向 "唔信"!

細仔個2nd interview已完成, 中規中矩啩?!  希望今年可以好似舊年咁, 收到一份 "好厚" 既聖誕禮物!

你小朋友明天既自行收生, 有無機會呢? 預祝有一間係你同小朋友都心儀既小學俾你小朋友!

I also finished my son's 2nd interview yesterday, it was OK but not the best. Since he is my second child, no hope for tomorrow's result. Let's hope for the result for 17 Dec

Just completed 2nd in fr cky yesterday and we are now waiting for the 2nd round in of dbs this Fri (30/11).

Any further info. regarding the 2nd in of dbs?  Would anyone be kind to share something with me??  I realized that it may have competition, but I just want to well prepare for it.....please

學校會分別發出取錄信, 不被取錄信同備取信三種, 所有申請者都會有信, 包括無2nd interview既考生!  如果收備取信既, 大約應該有幾十人, 據講是一張無分ranking既名單, 要响剩餘無去註冊既名額, 例如10個咁話, 一般會邀請呢班"候選人", 再角逐第三輪面試, 再從中揀過!所以, 你問我機會大唔大, 我都唔知點答! 可以話都有機會既! 以上資料分別由三位都有大仔响DBSPD讀, 而細仔係從waiting list中先入選既媽咪親述我知既! 佢地都要等到下一年既四, 五月至被邀請再去接受面試!  希望我細仔可以"首輪"入選就好喇!

係呢, 你小朋友依家有mud著落呢?

照道理, 無2nd interview 都應該只會收"不被取錄信", 雖然我又真係都聽聞過, 但就未親身見過, 故傾向不相信!

所以, 無2nd interview 者, 唔好意思, 應該只能收"reject　letter"!
