when will the interview start?
do parents or kids need to prepare for the interview?

Hi parents,

Last year when i applied SPN for my girl, i am quite determined to let her study in full-day school if she can successfully enter SPN.  Luckily, she is accepted by SPN & studied in N1 this year.  Both my husband and myself are glad to let our girl to study in SPN.  The teachers are very good and caring to my girl, and most importantly, my girl loves going to school now, willing to share her school life with me and talk much more after going to school.  Also, she learn to do things by herself at school, like going to toilet, eating, wear shoes and she even fold the blanket (that's what she told me) after taking nap each day... I am very pleased of her development so far.  

At the beginning of the school year, she cried and didn't want to go to school as everything is new to her, I also felt so sad seeing her cried in the morning at class door... after few weeks' time, my girl had changed and love going to school.  I am so amazed to see her changes.   She didn't complain about long school hours after she likes going to school.. children can get used and adapt to new environment very quickly, you should not under-estimate your kids' abilities!  

About the English class, I am not too concern about learning English in N1 as my girl watched some English cartoons and story books at home, she can pick up some English outside school already.  For me, N1 is more for fun and let her getting used to school life than learning English.  This is just my little sharing.  Hope this helps u to make your choice!

今天我一早7:30去到..no..大約在1-10之內,不如你們說下你們的no.
估下今年有多少人報..那間學校真的很難入...不知幾時收到面試信呢!有得面試..是不是代表機會很大呢?

i really appreciated of your sharing, and feel glad to hear your girl have such a happy school life and great development in spn!!!

btw, i have consulted the officer today, they will only invite 60-70 applicants to interview, it means if your kids can have chance to conduct a interview, mostly can admitted by them....main problem is .....they sort listed the applicants only by the application form (as u know that the form is so simple, even not a space for us to express our comment on their school) sigh....

The school will accept those who got siblings studied in SPN before, that's why most boys who got accepted had sisters studied in SPN now or before... that's my observation so far.

The interview will be around early May, u should consult SPN for details, i forgot the exact date.

at 9:30a.m., it's about 100 applications.

往年計，四月中至四月尾，將會有面試信發出(舊年有家長早在 Apr 17 已收到面試信)，五月初會有 interview (舊年係 May 3, 4)，五月中學校會發出取錄通知書，五月尾需要到學校註冊；流程大概是這樣，希望可以幫到大家 !!

1. "會"先有家姐(阿哥)的細佬妹先 !!

2. 我冇確實數字，不過照我過往觀察：新學年只會收 54 或 55 人，有家姐(阿哥)或教友或....... 約佔10個8個(估計)，因此估計剩餘取得學位者，約有 45 人左右 !! (純屬個人意見，只供參考，不代表學校立場)

No, I only have 1 daughter and no sister and brother for my girl yet.

What i meant is those parents who let their boys to study in SPN most probably have sisters studied there before, so the parents can bring the boy & girl to the same school at the same time.  I didn't say ALL accepted applicants got siblings studied in SPN.  I just noticed 4 boys in my girl's class had sisters, that's all.  hope I have clarified your mis-understanding.

i arrived SPN's campus last sat at around 9:00 and my daughter's apply no. is around 8x.  I don't think my gal will be admitted as she is neither a catholic nor having a sisters/brothers studied at SPN before.

何況你擔心都無用既, 係收左你囡囡固然可喜, 就算真係唔收, 咪揾第2間or出年再試下spk囉, 就算比你係bk呢個topic做哂research有幾個人有姐姐係度讀, 又有幾多個attached左受洗紙, 你都唔會計到修女pick邊d application黎interview, right? 何況唔會3,4百個applicants既父母都有上bk既習慣; 不如relax d, 當自己參加左個抽獎, 到時到候咪知囉; 另外你有冇apply其他nursery打個底呀, 始終呢間都係難既, 你唔好孤注一擲咪唔洗咁擔心囉~ good luck

我都希望潼潼會係lucky girl, 不過世事豈能盡如人意呢? 人算不如天算呀!!
