Lailaimame, Have you ever asked the school to offer you a seat in PM? I suspect that there are more parents preferring AM to PM and I would believe it would not be too difficult to change to PM while giving up a seat in AM. Not sure if it is now too late.

Dear Gym (Refer to #62),

In the beginning, when we accepted ‘AM’ class offer, we had really asked KV whether we could change to ‘PM’ class or not.
KV said that since my son was in waiting list and there was just only one vacancy in ‘AM’ class (ie ‘PM’ class is already full), no change is available

.

Sorry to reply to you so late as my husband and I really considered your proposal in these few days.

In the beginning, it is a very good idea and we just think that my son can sleep more and no need to urge him

to get up so early (ie win win case: all parties will be very happy

).

On the other hand, when we also consider whether my son can concentrate in the afternoon, we had some reservations

.
Since my son sometimes used to sleep in the afternoon (ie 2-3hrs), we afraid that he may not so concentrated (ie just compare to morning session) especially after the lunch and school bus travelling time

.

So we are facing 50:50 case

.

It is really a very difficult decision to make, so at last, we conclude that we don’t want to change anymore

.
We hope that it is not a wrong decision to him .

Maybe we should make more effort

to train him to sleep early !!!

Dear lailaimame,

It doesn't matter at all as I already well prepare of letting my son study in PM class. Just see your post so think we can consider the "exchange proposal" like you say can reach a win-win condition.

Nice to meet you.

I say to my daughter all the times on school next day. I hope that she can accept independent school life with no crying.

I prepared all items in her schoolbag except little drinking bottle.

Keep in touch later on sharing.

Nice to meet u all here. My name is Helen. How was your girls' big day going today? Mine was feeling real good and excited and she likes this school very much.

i got all the stucks ready yesterday and taught my daughter (BERNICE) to prepare the school bag, uniform and socks and shoes etc on her own on the first day and afterwards. i also want her to be independent too. Let's share more about the new school as my child doesn't feed back much about the school.

唔係好多mama都鍾意比小朋友返AM班，有些MAMA都會派下午班轉上午班，方便下午可以去返其他興趣班，我囡派下午班，我無諗過轉上午，因為我怕佢會好眼瞓無精神，反正K2都會係上午班啦！初初返K1咪返下午班囉，我平日又要返工唔得閒同佢去上興趣班．．．平日等佢輕鬆下，星期六日先返Ballet or music 班．．．

上午又好，下午又好．．．小朋友開心咪得囉！
