如果小朋友是來至英小，一定跟得上，學校仲有scholarship給成績優異的同學，SPCS不是一所騙錢的直資學校，這個妳大可放心。

我相信所有能考入SPCS的小朋友都有一定的質素，因為他們打低了過千對手才能入讀。

Dear SPCS parents,

My daughter was admitted to this school. Could you tell are they all required to study "French" or some other languages, as I know that the course would last for 4 years. Am I right? And is it a prequisite or the school policy to have a languate studied before applying for the IGCSE in F.4.

I also heard that all students are required to sit for the IGCSE  in F.4, which is to be treated as the final internal examination.

my girls is in S1 and she only takes PTH as her "other language". French I think is for non-Chinese girls.

除非你報讀外語(French/Spanish), 每年 around $6000 ~ as per Heidi 媽 said, these are Saturday ECA classes.

Hope other senior class parents can share re IGCSE.

IGCSE在中四下學期考，考了就不用考校內的末期試，校方鼓勵小朋友成績好的可考多幾科，信心不大的就考少些 。中二尾要決定中三時的選修科，IGCSE是給同學們多一個出路，應該中四尾就要決定中六時想選考GCE或新高中課程。希望幫到大家。

Thanks and could you tell the answers for two more questions :

(a) for the subjects of "Chinese Language" and Chinese History" in F.1 and F.2, what is the teaching language, in Cantonese?

(b) for F.5 and F.6 students, if they choose to study GCSE AL, is that true that they can apply UK or Australia universities directly if they get results of flying colour, i.e. no need to go for High Schools there or foundation course of universities etc.

a)中文用廣東話作為教學語言.
b)SPCS去年有54個拔尖學生,大部分來自IGCSE,因為對手是國際學校學生,程度與SPCS有一段距離.考IGCSE可提高及提早學生入讀香港各大學的機會.亦因如此,SPCS較少十優會考生.不過在新高中課程中,提早入拔尖入大學的機會已沒有了.

應該有十多個是用會考成績拔尖，當然IGCSE的好成績也有幫助，外間轉言有五十多位相信是不對的。

I understand that there are 6 classes in F.1. For those newcomers in F.1, i.e. from other primary schools, will they be centralized into one or two classes?

Anyone can tell?

One class was mixed with a majority of new joiners and a few girls from the primary section. The rest of new joiners were then spread into other classes.

So could I know the criteria / basis of the allocation, say, e.g. according to the English standard of the F.1 student?

Can I choose for my daughter? As I suppose it would be happier for her to have classmates with similar background; come from other primary schools and with similar English standard.

I am not sure what your concerns are but your girl should be able to make some new friends during the bridging course.

返8:05am放3:30pm.
夏令時間放下午, 今年夏令時間好似5月中開始.

中一學生按成績分班的, 但一般如果英文較強多會集中編入一, 兩班, 放心!

兩年前我女係下午 2nd in 嘅
傳言亦有話見校長係睇高一線
不過我都知有人見完校長一樣入唔到圍
唔需要俾自己／女女咁大壓力
說到尾都係睇女女嘅表現

林護245人2nd in 收43人，估計男女各半，成功率約 18%

SPCS 2nd in 有169人爭約50個位，成功率約 30%

估計兩間都有人吾去in所以實際成功率應該更高，另外同於港島區的SPCC於同日早上考分班試，估計放棄吾去in SPCS的會多少少。

再者SPCS學費相對比較便宜••••幾抵讀••••所以如果係我就會揀SPCS
