St.Joseph's (灣仔）叩門生有沒有收到通知面試？!!!

I got a phone call yesterday morning from Miss Leung who wants to view my son on July 4 11am. Very  very happy !
But not all of St. Jo kindergarten student get the call. So I think not enough seats for all kindergarten this year.

仲有冇update cert 或 report, 特別係"游泳"再放校務處，
7/7 後 一定有啲位，有冇叩軒上、下？唔計Queens,有
聯繫位去Tang Siu Kin，未叩而家叩la。有冇唸St. Loius,
慈幼?考得top 有機會插番嚟 (當然要very top)

以前我都蠢，唔興叩門....

點都係KG 優先，當no chance先，着緊吓2nd choice。

Do you mean if SJK boys got a phone call = the school must offer a place for you? I really want to know.

Prepare ?! no la, every one said "call for interview= accept the knock-door".

My son is very lucky, his knock-door accepted by 2 others schools. As you knows, many many students applied for   few knock-door seats.
Anyway, I forfeited for both. Hope other parents get the  good news soon.

我去年都係同大家一樣﹐過了一個黑暗六月﹐當時非常無助﹑無望﹐費盡心思想方法﹐包括每天投信﹑隔天到校踫機會見校長一面望可親手交亞仔的profile 給她﹐每天祈禱 (我不是教徒)﹑每天合掌求神﹑總之你諗到同諗唔到的方法我可能都有做過﹐
但係﹐愁是沒用的﹐亞仔見到你個愁樣也不開心﹐其實諗深一層小學啫﹐人生仲有好多年去讀書﹐條條大路通羅馬！
不用太緊張﹐好多時你越是想要得到﹑往往你就得唔到﹐徐遇而安吧！
就算呢兩日仲未收到梁校長的電話 (親自打的﹐你會聽到她的聲音)也不必灰心﹐因為仍有家長會放棄st.jo 而唔出席新生家長日﹐屆時可能會有位剩的﹐希望在明天！

如果插K3 St Jo Kinder 難唔難呢？聽說St Jo Kinder通常都可以直入St. Jo P1，真的嗎？我唸住7月10日前親自send份自薦信比梁女校長，唔知有無機會呢？

最早收到消息店應是7月7日後，當天是P.1 orientation,
早兩年的notice 大致是新生和家長要報到，否則當放棄學
位.....早兩年都係呢日後開始有parents 上BK 報喜。

7 月 8 日中一派位，08:30 巳放學,
7 月 9 日P.1 - P.5 ...

No, I mean my kid are accepted by other schools as well.
St.James just called me that they have seats offering now.

For your informations, St.Jo. Primary accepted 21 boys from St. Jo Kindergarten "knock-door".  But not all Kinder. boys are accepted this year. So I think the chance for other parents are "small".

Wor...this is 21 boys accepted from kindergarten.  Is every year like that ? How come still have 21 seats for 叩門位???

I have also submitted application letters for P2 this year but no feedback yet  My son is not SJ Kinder. I think the chance to get a set is quite minimal.  However, can you share your experience how to "write a better "knot-door" application and the format of the profile binder.  I just simply sent out the letter together with copy of school cert and award, there is no divider in between.  Would it be OK?

Is you son the top student at his old school?  Can you guess what reason the headmaster offered your son a seat for P2.  

Please Please share your experience?
