今日Interview時,我囝囝成日望住個老師眼定定,另一個老師同果位老師講佢(囝囝)好鍾意望住妳woo,果位老師就話'緊係啦我靚女呀',兩果老師仲笑到哈哈聲,妳話幾好笑.....

Dear BB豬MUMMY,

My son had the interview at KV Sunday afternoon, as the room was very noisy,  and I was answering the teacher so, I could not hear how my son had answered! But I think the teachers were very nice and kind. The teacher asked me how much time we spend with the kid every day and what were our daily activities. I told her we read to him a lot.
What language we used and whether if he had been toilet-trained.
I didn't think the teacher who played with the kid wrote down anything during the interview, maybe KV is trying to interview the parent rather than the kid!!
That's my feelings anyway, so they may judge the application based on the kid's family life rather than his/her performance during the interview.
I like the SC campus much more, as it is more colorful and attractive, I think KV is a bit cold and harsh, did you notice there are some metalic slides in the playgroud. They would be too hot to slide on during the hot weather!!!
Keep in touch, good luck at the Victoria (HMT), what time is your interview? Mne is 2:30 Sat.

我在INTERVIEW時發現, 有一位老師在不停的寫COMMENTS, 另一位在問小朋友, 到中間, 寫COMMENTS位老師開始問我, 問的問題同您的完全相同.

我同個女只有一位老師in, 但旁邊幾張table都有兩個老師．．．．．不過好奇怪，我個女一入到KV就話唔鐘意啦，可能佢冇乜佈置，比人冷冰冰感覺。

In的時候老師都幾nice,但冇乜讚小朋友，我個女用完整句子答晒所有問題，玩完玩具仲幫老師執返晒！不過死都唔肯唱歌～哈哈！所以我覺得interview的時候好講小朋友的心情，如果佢唔鐘意間學校，表現會相對地唔好！小朋友細細個都有自己的perference!

到依家in左三間，TT,Good Hope, KV, 我個女仲係好記得祟真，亦睇得出佢好鐘意果度，所以表現亦是三間最好的！唉，唯有盡人事聽天命啦！

我星期六都in完, 9月細仔未太識講野, 拜拜多謝呢d細細聲講, 無唱歌, 問的野差不多, 陀螺仔做禮物


1) 砌磁手動物, 仔仔done
2) 切野, 仔仔做但切唔到
2) 聽指示舉"雙"手同指眼仔 仔仔done
3) 問同邊個黎 仔仔識但唔理佢
4) 點解揀呢間學校
5) 邊個照顧, 平時帶仔仔做d咩, 有幾多時間照顧
6) 戒片未, k1之前會不會戒到片
7) 有無親戚係度讀

喺咪分開問唔知,我那日都唔知亞仔唱咗歌,喺老師問完我嘢,問另一個考緊我個仔個嘅老師"佢(我個仔)唱歌未"那老師話唱咗啦,我先知,後尾走左,我問亞仔,佢話唱咗abc song,另外我見有啲小朋友見完後,表上面會mark 咗三角形

me too, I can't hear what went on with my son.  The teacher asked whether he wants to play with the blocks or cutting the bread.  He chose the blocks, but he didn't built it very high.  I think she asked a few more questions, then the other teacher asked my all the questions as quoted above.  In the corner of my eye, I saw him putting one hand on his head and the teacher asked him to raise the other hand.  I heard him sing ABC, that was it! He also had a spinner.  It went by so fast, maybe 5 mins, unlike some mommy said, 20 mins??!! At the end I said, is that it?  The teacher said yeah, all questions asked and he answered them all.  Go home and ask him, see if he could tell you what happened!

It is so hard to choose between St. Cat and Kentville.  KV seemed so "cool" not much fun.  but St. Cat is too busy, too many students, I wonder if kids would get lost in the pile, only students that excel very much gets the attention?!

老師有無在問您選AM/PM那兒的旁邊寫上OK. 是不是表示上下午班都可以, 便寫上OK.

first thank you for your blessing as i like kv too much.
can you share your feeling about kv in details if your elder son was graduated here.  how about your son's primary school life ...

我個仔係KV三年都好開心, 現在係一間英小讀2年級, 佢係一年班, 食老本都拿到英文科測驗奬, 即全班最高分.  英文發音準確, 單字又認識好多.  所以唔需要介意, 係咪外國人敎.  中文更不用講是KV強項.
我真係不認識SC, 所以唔會拿來比較, 但我怕我個女(係細女)無學校收, 所以KM, SC, GH都考左.
但有2個真實例子, 以前我有一個鄰居, 每星期同我個仔一齊游水, 佢有兩個女係SC讀, 當時一個讀K3, 一個讀K1, 我個仔讀K2.  以當時, 即使是看街上或 會所的NOTICE, 我仔中英都能讀到, 但K3果個, 英又唔得, 中又唔得.  佢媽咪都唔好意思. 最後妹妹同家姐都係去左國際學校讀小學.

另一個是, 一個同樓女孩, 佢媽咪要問我借KV的暑期作頁, 幫個女補中文.

其實, 由亞仔讀K1開始, 我發現佢好鐘意睇街上的字, 到K2又話我知街上的字, 用MUG部首硑等等....

當小朋友上到小學, 你就會知道, 學中文比英文更困難, 因為小學執筆順, 執得好緊, 如果無基礎, 真係大人細佬都癲.

其實, 我唔太想係版面說太多, 因為各有所嗜, 我好怕野來一連串反駁.

但我出發點, 只係想比D信心大家, 因為一旦手持几個OFFER, 真係人生交义點, 怕做錯決定, 恨錯難返

Same as you, I like SC more than KV before interview, but now I change my mind.

好似同一般interview既問題差唔多.我囡囡都識.但真係要睇小朋友當時既心情同表現.我21上午先考.真係好緊張呀

咁我估三角形即係唔得lu...
