Hello everyone

i am new here. my 3-1/2 boy james is recently diagonsed with ASD. i have gone thru all these 169 pages and am benefited a lot. thank you all very much.

i have just visited Dr Amy Yasko' site. any parents here have tried her approach? any comment?

i remember Kawai mentioned her comprehensive genetic test and PLA-Rx and EDTA etc.

did u discuss this approach with dr trodd or Lam?their comments?

食抗生素都可以食probiotic (Mindlinx 是其中一種)，可以補充失去的益菌。

HayBmum 講得對,不過抗生素要跟probiotics相隔兩小時才能發揮兩者效用.

另外,我介紹您用olive leaf extract又名天然抗生素,用來預防及治療喉嚨發炎,非常有效.green concept有售.

兒科醫生話我仔仔是敏感友，包括鼻敏感，
ASTHMA，濕疹，還有最近患有淚管閉塞。
現每日都有吃Kirkman的 BIO-GOLD
chewable (PROBIOTICS)，JUNIOR DHA，
，NUTRIGREEN的LUNG CARE 及醫生西藥。
全部都是分開時間吃。我很想給仔仔試食
你所說的olive leaf extract又名天然抗生素。

請問olive leaf extract是否只在green
concept有得買? 其他地區或watson，
mannings 有無得買呢? 那麼，
olive leaf extract可否跟以上的
supplements一起飽肚吃呢? 可否建議
其他幫到手的nature's medicine。

其實小孩大部份要服抗生素原因有7成是跟氣管,喉嚨發炎有関,所以如能保護氣管強,就會減少感冒發生.我會在小孩最初有少許咳或感冒徵狀就服用,一般效果顯注.另外,我用2隻牌子的天然產品,Childlife的Aller-care,vitamin C, 還有colostrum+probiotics. Herbs for Kids的herbal supplement也很有效.

你仔仔是敏感友是跟immune system唔夠強有関,試比隻全面multi-vitamins佢打好個底,vitamin C補充劑也非常重要. 如果你仔仔係special仔,我會建議ASD-Plex.

濕疹就要介掉牛奶產品及食有機菜,鼻敏感試每天用鹽水洗鼻,法国牌子Sterimar Sea Water Spray都好好用,藥房或mannings有售.

Olive leaf extract,我一般在green concept買,因為是liquid form效易入口,唔知其他地方有冇得買. 我也會用它來作仔仔yeast overgrowth療程.

Sorry to reply late.  Yes, I did buy from Little Giant.  In fact, it's not too difficult to use but you have to trial & error step by step.

For my boy, I have done three times on him (basically once a week but I stop when he got sick for 2 weeks).

Basically I open the clay and mix with the herbs altogether.  The first time, I tried 1/6 cup and mix with water as per instruction and then add to the bathing water.  The temperature of the water needs to be around 40C. The colour will turn gray and muddy but my son accepts.  I then let him soak (don't pour over face or head) for about 3 mintues (shorter than recommended) and then took a bath afterwards.  No effect (+ve/-ve) was noticed after bath.

The second time, I added the clay to 1/5 cup and let him soak in the water for 4 minutes.  Again, no particular effect was seen.

The third time, I again added the clay to 1/4 cup and the soaking time was 5 minutes.  I also prepared "hotter" water and I noticed that during soaking, my son sweats a lot.  After bath, I observed some +ve effect  eg. talking in sense and more questions.

I understand that the clay pack can be used for about 10-12 times depending on volume you use each time.  As it is not an internal intake, I personally feel that it's worth a trial.  Also, it's not so complicated as written in the manual.

P.S. I am not using the bath tub for soaking, instead, I use the bathing basin and the water level is up to his waist.

Hope this will give you some hint.

No, I just use a spoon/mixer (like what we do when preparing cake) to help dissolve the clay with the water. Though not 100% mixed with water, I find that the mud pieces provide another source of fun when the boy soaks in the water!

Regarding OLE, it really works for me. But there's some studies said that don't use it on the child with dilated pupils (Most of the ASD kids have dilated pupils). Better check it out b/4 use. Pls correct me if I'm wrong.

My son doesn't like to soak into the water with clay. He complained it's #### and kept saying that the bath is for his brother. However, he enjoys ETDA bath with epsom salts very much.
