請問有沒大家長的子女是自行搭車返學的? 那裡有什麼車可以去到深水埗, 長沙灣, 荔枝角及美孚一帶.

小朋在放學後有活動嗎? 可不可以在校內的圖書館或自修室逗留到5:00pm才由家長接走?

I just bought a SPI for my kid yesterday. Actually there are not much choice in the market-without too many fancy pattern or even plain.

I looked at Choirpak and SPI. I think both are heavy in my opinion. And my son think was heavy too. The one in Sanrio (Thomas Train) was a lot lighter, but to be a Primary student, I think is not a good idea to buy him something with carton.

Eventually you brought the school bag to your kid. Is it all in blue without other color? Will your daughter feel not happy as most girls like pink.

My daughter was not study in CKY and her school have their own school bag. Therefore I don't have to worry for her.
Is so exciting, almost 3 more weeks, my son will beconme a PRIMARY student.

You are so dedicated and helpful !

It makes me believed that you have made the best choice for your kid !! CKY shall be my choice as well now

I though need your advice to get prepared for it :

1. Did your kid study in International kindys before joining CKY ?
2. Do you speak Eng or Cantonese to your kid daily ?
3. Is the interview conducted in Eng ?
4. Are you going to send your kid to study abroad some days later ?
5. Are you satisfied with your kid's Chinese level by now ?

Do you receive any news from the school regarding the school orientation? I remember that there is an orientation before the school open day, and will announce the class arrangement in due course. Thanks.

They told us the new student orientation will luanch on Aug 26th, but till now, still not receive any news.

I received the letter from the shcool already. The new student orientation will be held on 26 Aug 06.

Can we bring our kid to school in the first day? If so, I will to make my kid feel more comfortable in the first day.-I am sure they are quite nervous to become a primary kid (especially after they watched the 女王教室.

I rec'd letter too. Any new parents plan to stay at school and wait for their kids after lesson finished (10:30).

第一天開學禮，多數家長都會陪同去
先會在禮堂分班，然後去球場進行開學禮，包括：
*　唱校歌（不過我孩子升P3 都好似未識唱校歌，有教過咩？）
* 校長講故仔（雖然好好聽，不過如果天氣好，有太陽晒，都幾慘架，舊年有學生暈倒）
*　放氣球（視乎天氣，有冇落雨）

然後學生回班房
所象中，P1時家長也要去班房，班主任會講解家長如何填寫手冊，功課安排之類；
（咦？又好似在orientation果日已經在班房見過班主任，所以家長在開學果日唔駛去班房，我唔多記得，抱歉∼∼如果orientation 果日班主任已經同你地講左課堂的事，那麼，開學那天，開學禮之後，家長多數唔駛去班房啦）

最後，學生上課，家長是不在場的，可能只是學生互相介紹之類

以上是往年的安排，只供參考

CKY is positioning as a multi-language school, each primary class deploys two teachers to teach all subjects, one is native English teacher, and the other one speaks in Putonghua/Guangdonghua. P2 or above students are taught in Putonghua in all Chinese subjects, except one '通識'. While other subjects, such as Maths, Science are taught in English.
