I have just seen the CD last night, many thanks indeed as I really missed the performance.  Nestor kept smiling all the times.  Chun Hei and Winkie were quite participative!

Dear both
I have just been informed by school this morning that the drawing class full, no seat available for Winkie!  A bit surprise!!! so many participants?????

I will try to enrol Choir of  香港兒童合唱團.  They accept application from 1 Feb.  Interview will be required in Apr.  I like this one as Winkie loves singing very much but I understand that entry is quite difficult with large competition - so many applications each term!

香兒 as it's quite well organised and constructive but competition is quite large!

29/3 trip cannot go la, should be 坐月子 period, it's Thursday, tina's daddy don't want to have leave!

Tina now has music class in Yip's, and may start piano and violin training 6 months later, I'm afraid that she cannot afford so many activities. so may not enroll 香兒 lu!

Did you attend the school's birthday party yesterday?  Last night, Winkie told me that Nestor's mon joined their party yesterday and she asked me if I would attend her birthday party in future!  She want to join so much!

Are you invited by classmistress?  any special arrangement?

Nestor already 4 years old la, a few months older than Winkie.  Thanks for the information and I will inform Miss Ho to let me join the b-party.  By the way, headache in designing game for the kids.  What have you played with them?  I just wonder if I can buy something from Toyrus for a small magic show.

wow...so surprised that there's a topic regarding Victoria HMT.   Haa...actually, I feel so happy and I really want to thank the person who create this topic.

My son is studying there but in K2 now.   He also joined Hong Kong Childern Choir (HMT branch) where is very near the school.   He got the place in early Jan 07.   He also made a friend there who is also studying Victoria (HMT) but in K3.

Upon reading thu yr messages and sharings, I really feel most parents like this school and the activities arranged.  

Last nite, my son suddently asked :"papa, mama, do u know what's carbon hydrate? what's protain? what's dairy?"

I & my hubby shocked on his questions coz we never thought he would know this, especially those chemical terms.  We asked him why he asked in that way.  My son said :" Teachers teach me that and I know carbon hydrate is Rice, Noodles, Biscuits; protain is Egg, Potato; while dairy is milk-made products, like ice-cream.  Mama, we need to bring some food of carbon hydrate tomorrow to share with class...we bring biscuits la~"

We felt so happy coz it is much higher than our expectation.    My son also enjoys such teaching style...heee....because he can bring along with food/snacks to share w/ his class-friends ma....haaa

Just a little sharings with all of u.

By the way, any parents have kids studying in Victoria (HMT) K2?  If so, then we can create a new topic for K2...heeee....

Thanks for your sharing! I have the same feeling that the school can let our kids to study a topic with an in-depth perspective, and the kids are not just only "remember" the terms but also "understand" the topics.

Although your son now is in K2, we can chat also! We have discussions about the school sometimes, my daughter Tina also has a good friend in K2 because of the school bus.

Who yr lovely Tina known?  Tell me the name and see if my son know her also.

yeah yeah...as I remembered that when my son still in K1 (not sure in which month), they learnt the parts of body abt "brain", "heart", "lung" ..etc NOT the "eyes" "ears" "face".  Fr that time, I felt we made a good choice on selecting kindy for my son.  Moreover, the Sport Day was also wonderful, just like a big family gathering...
