Differences between Sacred Heart am & pm school?

Dears

Can anyone advise me the followings re Sacred Heart am & pm school.

1. Apart am is private & pm is subsidy, what are the major differences between the 2 school

2. From their websites, it seems that the pm school has more activities for their students?

3. Are all am classes half day? As I know, P5 & 6 classes in pm school are whole day.

4. How much is am school fee?

5. Will the am school accept student under 5 yr 8 months old (e.g. 5 yr 7.5 months old as my daugther was born on 15 Jan)

6. Which school do you think if better, am or pm? In terms of both academic standard & quality of student.

Q1. 好難講, 其實兩間都係好學校, 上午校英文讀深一年, 下午校不會, 但係下午校用既書係星加玻 -- my pals are here, 根據下午校老師講, 差唔多係全港最深既書。另外, 下午校p.3 有英文常識讀 (上午校好似無, 這點要向上午校家長求證)。此外, 由於上午校係私校, 收生由校長話事, 所以質素有保證, 但係下午校係大抽獎收生, 所以學生程度會有參差。

Q2. 下午校真係幾多活動架, 本身有管弦樂團, 學校會安排課外學習一種樂器 (屬於自由參加), 又有泳隊、乒乓球隊等校隊, 中國舞等等, 以便銜接中學部, 逢星期五最尾一堂會撥作課外活動堂, 小一至小四上一堂, 有成十幾種活動揀, 上到小五、小六, 由於全日制關係, 可以上兩堂課外活動, 小囡今年就揀左女童軍(由小二開始玩到小五)及小記者。另外, 小五、小六會安排紐西蘭遊學團, 由學校老師帶隊, 逢星期二放學又有英文會話, 暑假又會安排乒乓球、羽毛球班etc.....

Q3. am classes 好似係全部半日, 下午校p.1-4半日, p.5,6 全日制

Q4. 學費好似係千零蚊, 詳情可以問am 家長

Q5. 要問am 家長。

Q6. 兩間都好, 要睇下你囡囡適合邊間, 上午校課程較深, 下午校較活潑

Q1.
** am P.3 有science

Q2. ** am 可能課外活動(起碼無遊學團)真係無咁多，但都有泳隊、羽毛球隊等校隊, 中國舞，長笛，小提琴等等，星期六有女童軍，紅十字會 etc。剛過去的聖誕假期安排了親子探訪中國山區學校活動，我覺得很有意義。

你誤會了，我只作補充，主要內容並非我答的。

我不認為下午校較好，根本各取所好，不能以一句好或不好作比較或總結。

Many thx for your useful info.

Actually I'm a Sacred Heartist too but of course many years ago.  With my 13 yrs with Sacred Heart, I totally agreed that it's a very good school although it may not be the top one.

However, the most important thing is there's a strong network of Sacred Heartist in the society.  And most of them are professsionals & have many great achievements.  For me, my boss, doctor, teachers....are Sacred Heartist!

Therefore I hope my girl can be a Sacred Heartist too.

Mine study in am class, she can finish all the homework within 1 hour, including those in internet. She can take a nap in the afternoon also before she join the extra curricular activities.

就我囡而言, 小一至小四都係5-6樣功課度, 其中有D重係改止黎, 所以如果無改正, 就約3-4樣功課, 如果小朋友專心, 一個小時內一定做得起。

小五開始就多D, 但係我囡好多都係改正黎, 週末就會多D

我又唔覺得pm學生較難定schedule, 反而係因為我要返工, 所以早上無時間睇佢, 所以我就安排佢補習。

其實, 我比較鍾意我囡讀下午校, 因為佢可以有多D時間休息, 我地放工返黎可以同佢傾一陣計, 或者玩一陣先瞓。而家佢升五年級, 全日制反而無咁多時間休息

上主是我的牧者, 我實在是一無所缺。

15分第一輪較為"炆"水, 不過都可以試下, 如果你住中西區, 可以搏大抽獎, 你第一輪同第二輪都揀聖心下午校做第一志願, 就算唔入, 叩門機會都好大 (呢個係下午校校長黃修女話既)

如果你唔想搏, 上午校一定收硬聖心幼稚園既學生, 但係條件就係要放棄大抽獎

其實放唔放棄都無所謂，老實說根本就可以去大抽獎（除非今年有改變），我的朋友未又係register左上午校，而去大抽獎，諗住博下入St. Stephen Girl,未又係抽番聖心下午校。

1. (am) 私立部英文科讀高一班, 即是一年級上學期會讀晒一年級的英文課程, 下學期會讀二年級的英文課程(pm) 政府的就normal 一年級讀番一年級英文.
2. yes, pm class 係比 am class 多課外活動的.
3. am class 係半日制的.
4. $1900.
5. 最細的只收5歲8個月的.

am school fee $2,000

both am and pm use same Math book

pm school 3 classes use putonghua to teach Chinese Language

十五分都ok架.........今年幼稚園生全部報下午校都收晒(當然連叩門都係收返幼稚園生啦)

亞囡都係聖心得十五在第一輪已經收左, 就算唔得在第二輪及叩門都收番晒, 所以如你亞囡是聖心幼稚園出來基本上99.9%入番小學, 唔須要太worry.

請問下午校p.5, p.6 的全日制, 係上多咗課外活動還是上多咗學科堂呢?咁程度上係咪會比am class好d 呢?
