Hi St. Cat parents,

My kid is doing N1 international class at Keen Mind and also got accepted by St. Cat. K1.  We like Keen Mind a lot but also heard that St. Cat is very good and famous which will help a lot in getting to good Dss/ private primary schools.  So I'm struggling which kinder to choose.

Would appreciate if you can advise me on the followings:
1) Any previous Keen Mind parents who have changed to St. Cat?  Can you give a sharing on the 2 schools?

2) Starting from K2, St. Cat has just 1 Chinese class teacher and the NET is shared among all classes.  Do you think this has a negative impact on your kids' English learning?  How's their English development in ST. Cat?

3) My kid is accepted in Eng/PTH class, can any parents comments on this class?  How's the English and Mandarin standard taught in school?

Any other comments are welcomed.  Thanks in advance for your help.

1. Both of my daughters are from SC.

2. SC has been operated in this way for so many
years. Most of SC's students are good at Eng.
So don't worry about how SC arranges the
teachers, the end result is the most importatnt.

3. Good as usual.

Bear in mind, no school is perfect.

其實您都唔使甘擔心, 至緊要係個小朋友鍾意返學. 需要好多家長好渴望自己仔女都入到心儀學校, 不過都要睇下小朋友反應. 同埋佢地適唔適應. 之前都聽到好多家長講, 考St. Cat. 就英文底會好o的, 至於考KV就中數個底都會好o的. 不過我本人就認為學校環境都, 老師師資及學校課程更加重要.

B4 my girl is studying Keen Mind N1 international class and she likes the school very much. She is now attending K1 eng/put class.
Both school is good, but the size of the class in Keen Mind may be smaller than St. Cat. Keen Mind has more extra cirular activities than St. Cat. that u can take the those activities on Sat.
However, there are more homeworks in Keen Mind than in St. Cat if comparing with K1. I guess your kids has 2 pages of homeworks on weekend but the kid enjoys it.

The reason I let my daughter to study in St. Cat b/c she can get in Eng/Put class and Keen Mind only offers Eng/Put in K2. I think that Keen Mind is more suitable for boys than girls.
