My daughter is studying at N1 and is going to be L2 in
Aug. My daughter is a small B and only York accepted
her among many of the kindergarten that I applied. Like
many of the mommy, I was rather disappointed and sad
as there is so may bad news about York. However, I was quite impressed by all the things done by the school last
year. My daughter is very happy everyday and the class
teacher was very responsible. The syllabus is quite good
and they do care of the children. The English is good but
honestly, parents' role in helping their child is very
important. Don't expect too much at school as there is
only around 2 and half hour learning time. ( There is
snack time and toilet time la) The child has more time at
home wow. As long as your child can cope with the
school life and happy everyday is more enough for a small child . If they have a good beginning, that won't be any
problem at all.
My comment on York:
seems quite many Indian teaching English. It is more ideal if more NAT teacher like Mr.Chris who make fun to
children at all time and also more comfort on parents'side, especially if the school fee will be HKD3000 this year.
ST.Catherine only HKD32xx on K1 and they have Nat
teacher at classroom all day. I know Mr.Chris only
teaches N1.
I guess York assign the good teachers on N1, at least ,
parents have good impression on the first year to school.
I am satisfied with daughter's progress at N1, Hopefully,
everything will be OK at L2 la.. especially the class
teacher. |
