我係新手媽媽
所以唔明白點解揀幼稚園
要好似咁大件事咁
又攻略而排位果d?
唔係話讀邊間幼稚園對升小一冇影響架咩?
咁點解要咁做呢?
可以教我嗎?
我仔2010年要讀k1啦
咁我應該點做呢?
係咪要買本果d幼稚園揀校既書?
之後又要點呀?

幼稚園對升小一冇影響-->係, 如果你淨係諗住參加統一派位, 無論派去邊你都接受的話

稀仔係一個為食b, 乜都要試下, 而家24磅!!

唔接受咁又點呀?
派到間唔想去既小一可以點做
係咪即係去想讀果間小學"叩門"
即係果時小學就會揀好幼稚園出既學生係咪呀?
所以預防萬一就讀定間好d呀????

Whenever primary schools have a choice, which kindergarten the kid comes from may become important.
Certain kindergartens have a reputation for producing kids with a particular academic standard and this may give the kids an advantage when applying for top primary schools.
If you are talking about government / subsidised schools, the only time this matters is, as you say, when you 'knock doors'.
If you are talking about private or direct subsidy schools, this advantage may be even more apparent.
Some primary schools only take kids from their related kindergartens (for example, if you want to get into St Paul Convent School, you'll have very little chance unless you are from one of her 3 related kindergarten / nursery).
Some primary schools have strong link with certain kindergartens (for example, 70% of CCKG girls get into DGS & 50% CCKG boys get into DBS while 60% Braemar Hill kids get into St Paul Coed).
This is why parents are so eager to get their kids into certrain kindergartens, because the right kindergarten improves the kids' chance of getting into the right school!

同埋點樣知道果間幼稚園既教學方式等
係咪買果d咩選校攻略/天書果d有晒資料架啦?
咁2010讀k1幾時要買黎睇/搵資料呀?

樓主,
好多幼稚園, 什至乎係屋村幼稚園, 都可以有好好教學質素,
視乎你想要小朋友學到d咩, 跟邊一類小朋友玩 &
你想跟邊一類家長溝通.

九龍塘一帶的幼稚園, e.g. St Catherines, Kentville,
HK Preschool, Keenmind,
家長普遍來說比較著重小朋友的學術及課外活動表現,
所以呢d學校的小朋友在課餘時間參與不同的興趣班 (e.g. 英文, 游水)/ 考試 (e.g. LCM)/比賽 (e.g. 朗誦比賽).
而呢d小朋友在k3時多數會去考私校, 直資學校.

想減少搵小學的煩惱, 可以考慮有小學連接的幼稚園,
e.g. 啟思小學附屬幼稚園, 民生, 培正, Victoria, etc.

在你未開始認識呢d比較出名的幼稚園時,
你可以先到自己區內的幼稚園看看,
參觀一下佢地的校舍, 在學校門口睇下小朋友返學放學,
果度d家長等等, 了解一下呢d學校係唔係你心儀的學校.
另外, 幼稚園都會有開放日,
可以先去去開放日了解一下學校環境 & 教學模式.

除此之外, 如有朋友或者同事的小朋友在讀小學或者幼稚園
你可以跟佢地交流一下,
慢慢你就會知道自己想搵邊類型幼稚園比自己個小朋友讀.

Start taking your child to playgroup when he / she is 18 months old. If you go to playgroup on Sat, you can meet more mothers and shares thoughts on kindergarten and primary school.

我囝囝係05年細仔,本應今年讀k1,
不過我都係決定左俾佢出年讀做大仔,

My younger son is a small boy and will study K1 in the coming Sept. The only disadvantage is "writing" as the "bone" development is not ready. I suggested you put him in school with foucs on "speaking" rather than on "writing". He will soon catch up on the "writing" skill by end of K3.

There are plenty of choice of kinder at Kowloon Tong.

CCKG = 基督堂幼稚園
HK Pre-School = 樂基幼稚園

棉花爸...棉花媽...棉花糖(BB糖)...
