You can refer to '2006/2008 中學一覽表' and sum up the total number of seats for those band 1 school in Wan Chai district. If you are in Wan Chai district, your dream school 'Ying Wah Girls' School' only provides 2 seats for allocation. it will be risky to put 'Ying Wah' as the first choice during school allocation especially when the chance of entering an English secondary school in Wan Chai district is high, it is not justify to take the risk.

If you really want to enter 'Ying Wah Girls' School', it will be more sure win if you can be allocated within Central district. Are you able to change your district to Central?

荃灣區只得三間英中, 基本上唔夠分. 所以抽獎只可以放一間英中作第一志願, 第二志願就要放band 1 中中. 自行記得選擇兩間心儀既中學, 如果選擇錯誤而又咁好彩收咗你, 咁你就冇咗抽獎既機會架啦.

band 1生的男女比例是4:6, 以2008年的估計數字, 深水埗的抽獎band 1生約697個, 四成係男生, 即279 個, 區內男女校+男校的非保留英中學額剛好279個. 當然男女校會有女生爭, 但band 1女生有418個, 單係女校學額就有253個, 相信很多男女校都無mug女生爭. 男仔好多會選長天, 所以選男女校似乎機會大o的. 以上純粹估計, 唔知係咪可以咁樣分析.
