呀仔表現良好.最後老師問我,如果p.m你會否考慮,我唸了3秒,MS代我答,你都考慮吓啦............(仲唸住再機)...最後是"waiting list"

老師都有問我會唔會考慮pm class, 我雖然答會, 但個表情唔多願意, 但最後都係收咗pm class..........anyway, 咁多競爭都入到真係算好彩架啦.

但, 唔知可唔可以打去問想轉am class既waiting list呢?

其實K2都會返pm,只不過宜家早d比小朋友習慣K1返pm都好嘅。尤其係當你諗到寒冷冬天時返am,要小朋友一早起身嗰種鬥爭,你就會好enjoy返pm都唔定。

I think this is always an uneasy question to answer.

During the interview, the teacher did ask my wife if we have preferences between AM/PM and my wife said "No". We thought since K2 will be PM anyway, so it wouldn't matter much AM/PM for K1.

But afternoon is usually nap time for baby. ANy suggestion on how to switch nap time? Or 3 year old no longer need nap time? Comments are welcome!

I circle both am and pm on the form and the teacher asked me whether i can accept both am and pm, i answered yes, finally they offer pm to my son. My son studying in learning habitat am session now, and he will has his nap at 12:30 to 3 o'clock, but he actually used to sleep at 10 am to 12pm before he started the pn class, so i think i can switch back the nap time for him when he attend k1 in kentville.
For example:
wake up - 7am then breakfast
sleep - 10 am then wake up at 11:30 or 11: 45 am then have lunch before go to school. Then sleep again at 9 pm at night.

我答"no"呀, 我係張form都填埋唔考慮, 雖然k2點都要番下午, 但始終覺得阿仔仲細, 番多一年上午班, 佢d時間會冇咁亂, 可以適應好d. 所以最後係"waiting list"

無關係既，當年我地話會考慮pm，結果收am，佢係超細B兼無唱歌。

我兒當年面試. 我也回答下午班沒問題. 最後收上午班. 我關注學校多於上下班問題. 你可問自己, 若一間不是最心儀的學校收上午班. 而一間心儀的收下午班, 你會如何選擇? 最重要是有些其他什麼可以比較. 若兩間很心儀的也收, 可能當中才會比較上下午問題.

我唔鍾意下午班, 因為人係上午係最好既學習時間, 而且下午小朋友最好有午睡時間, 對腦部發展有幫助.

Hi Shirinlam,
I don't agree your point about AM/PM for baby. Because K2 is PM for most Kindergarten. You need to turn your baby at K1 in mid-session if your kid is AM session La.

I was choose PM in application form. So that my son is accept PM session at Kent Road. Also, my son and me is 8 Nov at 9.00am first interview boy. Also, they are already to interview all. Sometimes, I didn't agree some Ma say that teacher is bad face early morning La.

We went to the morning session too at 9:30am, the teacher was ok.

I only circled AM on the application form but the teacher asked me whether I will accept PM and I said No Problem. She asked this question when the interview just started and not at the end of the interview. Finally we got accepted in PM class.

I also agree with "ysnmama", AM or PM is not my concern as long as I want my daughter to study in that school. Anyway, we can adjust her daily schedule. To get up early in Winter time for small kids is really cruel.

That's right, imagine our kids have to get up at 6:30am in the weather like these few days....
I don't want to get up myself.... not to mention my kid..
