just relax. My son was not that smart. He tried 4 DSS but only 2 accepted him. My performance during the 2nd interview was poor. I thought my son's performance was also "poor". He told me that the headteacher had asked him what did he do usually and he answered that he liked watching TV, playing video games, Lego.. but he didn't like doing homework. When I heard him told me that, I thought it was over but luckily he was accepted. I think they accept my son because he was "honest" and didn't use those prepared answers such as I like reading...etc. Anyway, luck is of the most importance.

makeupstudio, my son is November baby, he was accepted.
Just make sure your boy is willing to speak up during interview. most boys are shy and won't speak when needed.... hence schools tend to pick BIG boys.
May I know which KG did your sons go to? I also heard that they favoured old boys' sons ... if that's the case .. then my son's chance will be v small as he's also a dec baby.
Thanks a lot!

Hello parents,
Do you think it is essential to put the children in those interview courses? I think those courses train the children to be expressive and speak up, but at the same time, I am afraid the children will be trained to give standardized responses, like a machine.

HI twinstar
I am not DBS old boy. My son was from one of the Kowloon Tong kindergarten but not those famous ones like CCKG, Kenville or St Catherine.
