Sometimes I found myself falling into the same trap "losing temper".  It's easy to build up pressure between both of us when I was sitting near (not even next to) her.

Now I avoid watching over Alexa when she's doing homework.  I would stay in my room and she would pass me the finished homework one after one for checking.  I only rubbed off those ugly writing (not more than 3 to avoid discouragement) for her correction.  Both of us are happy about this arrangement.  As she is happy, she sometimes even requests me to rub off more than I anticipated.

Daddy once phoned up when she was doing homework.  She picked up the phone and told Daddy" Mami teacher is busy in her office waiting for my homework, can you call back later".  So funny!!

I'll see how long this arrangement can last for.  Hope it can be long-lasting!

See if this works for Edwin.  Btw, can 姐姐 ask him to finish off the homework before you go home from work.  I understand that you always work late.  Both of you may be tired when you go home.  As a result, the chain reaction (doing homework slowly on one side while losing temper on another) may be inevitable.  If Edwin can finish homework beforehand, give him some encouragement (e.g. stickers or anything he likes), then hopefully easing off the pressure between both of you.

係啦! 我都覺得奇怪呀, 使唔使咁多功課做呀, 阿仔都係做到唔想做呀, 太多功課喇, 好心唔好咁快派, 等佢多D時間溫習啦, 星期五先派都得啦, 昨晚我出左街晏左返, 攪到阿仔做完功課都11點幾喇. 變左無時間溫習, 唯有今朝一早就叫佢起身同佢溫習囉.

Don't worry la..teach him of slowly. Somtimes Parco also slowly and doesn't like to do. But I said he must finished by himself, and if you finished we can play the toys or watch TV...is very free...
We must patience with him! This is very important.

尋日亞仔話做左中文, 不過唔知佢講revision定真係卷, 如果真係已經開始assessment, 我估今日係英文, 因尋日寫完A-Z, 中文亞仔都ok, 我反而好驚佢d英文串字, 依家一日一字, 偷一日懶都唔得呀。

如果做咗中文就冇眼睇囉!!咦又係喎,寫A-Z都係一個緣機,咁可能今日真係assess英文喇。

話時話,我記得上次assess中文之前嗰日,有張paper前後都要寫滿中文練字,我諗睇今日嘅功課就會揾到d蛛絲馬跡估到下星期assess乜嘢都唔定!

完全唔睇住佢做功課又好難架, 有時佢一開始已經寫錯左, 到做晒先睇佢就大件事, 但下下盯住佢又唔得, 唯有係眼尾間望兩下, 問題唔大既就到最後做晒檢查功課時先話佢, 枱面只俾佢一支筆一個rubber, 一多就會分心去玩, 平時亞仔六點左右返到屋企, 習慣換左衫休息一等就要佢做功課, 係七點幾食飯前一定要做晒, 時間緊迫佢又想食飯所以做得都算快, 怕佢食完飯先做呢, 漫漫長夜, 會拖長做好耐, 習慣左, 有時就算我同daddy遲返, 姐姐又要煮飯都好, 佢都自動自覺係晚飯前攪掂d功課。

呢個都係好好嘅方法,始終要做完先有得開飯,唔係有排玩。我都同意食晚飯前要做晒功課,免得之後夜長夢多!

今日做咗英文assessment,亞囡話做咗:

(1) Fill in the blanks, 26個alphabets其中有d漏空,要填大及小楷,"Bb", "Cc", "Ee", "Hh", "Qq", "Ww"及"Yy"

(2) 畫咗ship, car, fish & moon (with the given alphabets "S", "C", "F" & "M")

(3) Counting the fruit, 數d生果然後填番數量in English, "Apple - one", "Lemons - two", "Oranges - three" and "Strawberries - five"

(4) 圖畫題,跟instructions畫畫,"Draw two apples on the tree", "Draw a car near the house", "Draw an ant", "Colour the flowers purple"....

應該同上次assessment模式一樣,今次係多咗small letters及spelling of numbers。

明天最後一科中文,好快攪掂等Friday開party喇!

話時話,你哋有冇諗Friday湊返學or放學呀?我有諗過,如有興趣,又可以tea一tea喎!
